Starting my micro locs on 2/1/23. Wish I knew about them 3 years ago. I have 4d-Z hair. I’m TIIIIIRRED of detangling . I currently wear goddess locs , for 5 years now. Your locs are beautiful and healthy! I’m six months in with SL’s and I’ve been extremely satisfied with my decision from day 1. I thought I looked like a plucked chicken when they were all done but I didn’t fret because I went home and sprayed a little water on them. The next day I was happy and not ashamed to show them off! I just started my journey with sister locks two and a half months in and I am 3 and 31/2 inches it's short and shrinkages is real!!. I watch some of you videos when you just got them and feel the same way you felt but trusting the process.

Thank you! It was probably about 6 to 9 months that I noticed them thickening. I recommend the Twisting Paste for the frizz, but use very little. When I do my reties I only use where needed to avoid build-up.

@@CimplyCeCe I’ve been doing it 3 years now and it’s so satisfying my hair is almost to my waist so it takes me about 7 - 8 hours but I just do it in 2 days. I started with 4 pattern and changed to 3 pattern for a more full look. They said 2 point isn’t the best way so try to do a 3. Keep up the great work you did very well sis. ❤🎉

Hi Cece is it important to plait your sisterlocks and are you only to plait before and after washing

With sisterlocks, it's only important to "braid and band" before shampooing while your sisterlocks are maturing and locking. But after they mature, you don't need to braid them anymore.
