Very nice meeting you here❤...you took me back to some of my work in our little house fool of details related to weather, dust, rain and bugs...it would have very nice seeing your many moments at the same time ...they would have helped me very much with ideas and ways of solving our challenges...lI surely loved meeting you here....I grew up with my Hungarian mom who had to live her loving adorable Hungarian country,,,it was invaded with the German WW2 and she was able to gat out and have a wonderful place and moment to have my oldest brother that was born in 1945 in Austria...and mom move to Brazil where I was born 10 years alter my oldest brother, it was MEch 8th 1955...and my brother has been my wonderful brother since....and working with mom in similar situations and conditions...and almost like yours...she organized our garden and I worked with her in everything.... I love garden, flowers and we also had honey provided in a special place for the the bees...honey as delicious....and I also learned that all is possible through good pondering, planning and wishing the many learning new ways to make it all always pleasant ...it would have wonderful having next door as a wonderful lady as you ae❤🎉...loved meeting you💯💝🥰🎄🙆‍♀️

You took me back to my growing with mom having created a very large place in the end of the garden with a special place for chickens and duck ...I grew up with mom preparing to cook some chicken and I loved working my playing with the babies...mom was an excellent Hungarian cooking lady, delicious cakes, fruit salads, delicious Christmas food of all kinds ...and with I got very happy scouting with many other Hungarian families in São Paulo, BR....It have been wonderful meeting you as a scout ...I started when I was 5...and learned a lot in so many wonderful camping programs as a scouting leader also ❤🎉🤗💝🥰🙆‍♀️🎄🌟

Hello, We had chickens and my grandmother would put ping pong balls in the nest and it would encourage them to lay eggs, I'm sure that fake eggs will be fine, I don't know why but it works. All the best 🙂💛

Hi Anna - Thank you so much for filming your renovation of this home and garden - I started watching in the middle of the story and realized I wanted to start from the beginning to know the whole story - so I did. 🙂 You inspired me and brought back memories from when I was growing up in San Jose, California USA - my Father upgraded and restored my childhood home and I worked by his side to help on nearly every project - tiling an entry - refinishing cabinets in the kitchen - and replacing the roof material. It was fun - and I learned a lot like you. 🙂 I watched the videos starting in the middle and then started again from the beginning to watch until the last video. And I'm just finishing with this video - but I feel like I want to watch the story again. I'm going through a Spiritual healing right now - and your story is helping me heal something and by watching I feel a connection to my childhood and the Organic Gardening and Chicken Raising that my family did - remembering the joy of collecting eggs and eating fresh tomatoes and other vegetables from our garden in the home I grew up in. I live now in Santa Fe, New Mexico USA - and I live on Disability for PTSD in low income housing. I am half Norwegian and one quarter Italian and one quarter Swiss and I love the Scandinavian Cultures and their traditions. I wrote to finally tell you how much I appreciate your renovation journey and how much courage and strength you have to take on this project. You are an inspiration to me. New subscriber. So fun to see your chickens. Miss mine. Be careful to sew closed any possible entry in chicken wire fence. Everything from fox to owls will find a way in if they can. I was sad to see the white trim removed. I really like that style. But I am impressed with the amount of progress you are making. Love the show however, next time you do board and batten, it is really good to stain paint whatever you’re doing the boards while they’re down and then put them up and then do a second coat and you don’t have to do it for a very, very very long time. My father built a board and batten house and this is how he did it. The advantage of staining the boards before you put them up is that you can get them fully coated and protected from rot👍🇨🇦 on an extra note, I love board and batten by the way I would do it, according to the Japanese shou sugi method of charring the wood to a lovely black and state. Many homes in Japan. Had this method done to the wood and they are still standing many many many years later years later without re-staining or rot.

Love the color you are painting the outside of your house. I am used to the traditional red, black, and kind of a mustard yellow. I like the dark green and am thinking about residing my house and this gives me ideas.
