Honestly the writing already took a bit of a hit before. It was just less noticeable because the cast was incredible. When Sheen left it just became really apparent.

@@the_bottomfragger It's something that happens with all long running shows. First, Lorre spent less time on the show and more time on the Big Bang Theory. Second, after season 5 the flanderization was so extreme it was ridiculous.
