Yes, I do. From the top of my head is the old town of Koprivshtitca, South Bulgaria. The other one is a resort on the Black Sea, small and ancient town Nessebar and town of Sosopol, also an ancient town on the Black Sea. Thanks and Good luck !

Fantastic video. Thank you. I haven't been there in decades and my family is from the region between VT and Gabrovo.

Very close Arbanasi, Tryavna and especially the open air Ethno museum Etara are an absolute must as well. Probably few people know that the VT region is home to a small Brit diaspora who managed to buy cheap houses when we joined EU in 2007. Without sounding nationalistic, our small yet big Bulgaria has very interesting places.

Great info, thanks for sharing! We visited Tryavna in Part 3 of this series. Agreed, Bulgaria has so many interesting places to visit!

That´s how u said really hilly city thats why coach potoes like me dont like walking out there :D but u r such a lovely funny couple. I love u visiting my country. I am from Varna - the sea capital how we call it, but in winter its not so cool. You are coming unfortnunately not at at the best time of the year. At summer my city Varna is amazing with sunny beaches and cheap stuff compared to anywhere else in Europe. Have a nice trip and God bless u :) And also there is a myth that when God was giving every country something Bulgaria was late so he gave us from everything a little :D

Haha we can understand, it's very hilly! 😄 Thank you so much! We love Bulgaria! Hopefully we can come back at a warmer time of the year to visit Varna. We're heard Bulgaria's beaches are beautiful! Love that myth - seems true, Bulgaria does have everything! We appreciate your comment :)

Hi! Love your channel! We are planning a trip to the Balkans and are having a hard time finding a car rental place that allow cross border travel to include: Bulgaria, Albania, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Greece and Croatia. Do you have any recommendations or other suggestions? We will be there for 3 weeks and want to see as much as we can. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Safe travels!

Thank you so much! We really appreciate you ❤️ Unfortunately we don't have any experience with renting cars to cross borders in the Balkans, so we can't help you there. You can try contacting one of the car rental companies like Top-Rent-A-Car (we rented a car with them in Bulgaria), or Sunny Cars to see if they have any info. It sounds like an epic trip you're planning!!

To correct you on the tipping - this is not in our culture. You only tip if you feel like it or you liked the service. No 5,10 or 15 percent. Waitressing !? Is viewed as a normal job in Bulgaria and payed as a one at most places.
@Twocantravel2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for letting us know! We read that giving a 10 percent tip was typical in Bulgaria. But we're glad to hear that waiters are paid a high enough wage not to rely tips. That's not the case in the US. The service was great at Shtastlivetsa, so we were happy to tip.

It was not that easy for the turks to conquer bulgaria it took them close to a century of wars..what made that easier for them is that bulgaria was separated inthree tzardoms(it is a title adopted by russia from bulgaria centuries after we adopted it in the 9th century)...so the sons of our last great tzar or emperor ivan aleksander took parst of the empire and that made us easy prey for the muslim conquerers......by the way one of our only documents from that time is as we know it in bulgaria the london gospel of ivan aleksander,it is kept in a londonmuseum after british traveler tookit from bulgaria probably hundreds of years before from some monastery or churchand they never gave it back to us

Да, Четвероевангелието. It is a treasure !!!Надяваме се един ден да се завърне в родината ни. В Лондон поне ще бъде пазено добре.
