Predatory lending is AMAZING in the early game, when your ammo capacity sucks and you only have two weapon slots. It's also amazing for the money barrel glitch. Also, "bullets are cheap, but not that cheap" is a line from Marcus.

Yeah it isn't a very good gun but $1 per bullet is extremely cheap, especially at endgame where I'm refilling all my ammo for something like $10,000 and definitely not buying ten thousand bullets.

I’m gonna drop in in defense of the Storm, it was absolutely vital for my elemental hellcat build against Haunt during the Halloween event. It drained the shields in no time and racked up so many crit ranks for character challenges.

I fell like almost half these weapons on this list are actually good weapons. Mind killer good for early mid game, magnificence good on moze and flak with a good build and even the storm can be useful when used right in the video he used in like a shot gun and on enemies that resist shock it can do work on shields, also the mayhem perks could be working against or with these weapons on the list so results were most likely tilted

It’s a really good early/mid game shot gun. It’s fixed pattern and no charge time it works really well for early game and if you can get a high level one it can work for mid to late game. I can do work on Meghan 2-3 of you play it right

I used Superball for farming Jabbermogwai: created a horde with cryo, then mowed them down with bouncing fireballs (incendiary kills pop the Hellfire SMG). Might not have been the most efficient, but it was fun.

The Lob is actually really good at close distance fights and with enemies that generally don't move as much, like Bosses or Heavies. I just completed the Slaughterstar 3000 arena with an Electric Lob and using the gun it was pretty easy on Mayhem 3.

I find the storm to be pretty useful in certain cases. One is with a big boss with lots of shield like Haunt. You can just put a ton of those little electric orbs right on top of him and then run around while they do the work. Also, there have been times when a guy is glitched in a wall or hiding behind cover and those orbs will kill them without them even being visible. Otherwise, good list I think.

the storm is pretty bad but it’s just situational. can be good for mobbing from a distance especially with an elemental amara. i’ve got a few to try at some point but really the only useful sniper is the Lyuda. hopefully they give us some half decent snipers in the future to try and take the place of the Lyuda

I agree with this list except for the storm sniper. Using this weapon on Zane on a calm cool collected build, it does great. When you use double barrel and give the storm to the clone it is amazing. The clone freezes every enemy and strips their shields. I love this weapon. But without a CCC build I dont think it's very good.

The mind killer being in another list is really contradictory of him. I'm not sure of the level 50 version but getting it when you first start is a must. It can easily carry you to level 18 while the weapon is still only level 8.

My storm orbs crit enemies often and I got it anointed, 100% bonus damage after skill end. It's actually really good if you're fighting bosses or mayhem 3 badasses. I'd prefer a shock Jericho (mine is radiation, ew) but you use what you get.

the nimble jack is actually really good for 1 type of build: Zane->hitman skill tree, you can get really fast and really high with jumps when getting constant kills, at that moment you often get real close to enemies and you want all of your bullets to hit the target

I don't use the Storm but I could see it being good on an elemental Amara where you can turn a portion of that damage into another element. It looks like it does well against shields, so if you could turn a good chunk of that damage into incendiary it may actually be a really nice gun.

I had a blast using the Storm sniper rifle on Fl4k; electical/fire damage does loads of damange AOE or even single target. The robot bosses with high shield can be depleted within few seconds even on mayham4

With my experience the damage per shot on mindkiller is really good but the charge up time is really not ideal for a run and gun shotgun playstyle. I personally just use a protrubence and blow up the whole room at once

Fun fact: The Magnificent's reload animation doesn't properly animate the front magazine being replaced or the bolt being slammed down after reloading all three mags with its model. The front magazine is fixed and isn't removed/replaced on the model and the bolt looks like it's already in the forward position when it's being "slapped" by your character.

I completely agree with every analysis but the storm (I am a Fl4k man) and The storm has the unique ability to ripped down shields of mobs with little to no accuracy. Shoot the floor for 2 clips in the general vicinity of The mob, be sure to spread out your shots tho so it has a nice AOE and 90% if not 100% of their shields are gone. I generally move to a radiation & Fire weapon to do the rest since the fire allows for high Dps on health while radiation has the chain reaction.

The Girth Blaster Elite should be on this list. It always comes with the same parts. The barrel it has decreases damage by 70%. And don't say it's a meme weapon you're not supposed to kill with it because the Hyper Hydrator works perfectly on mayhem 3 if you want a maliwan pistol that does kinetic (normal) damage. With high fire rate and no damage penalty it works well, but the alt fire is weak.

The storm is actually good IF you have the right class for it. Idk about amara like you mentioned, but I use it on Zane with double barrel skill and combine with undercover tree. The clone never misses and seems to have faster fire rate (I think not proven yet) and the orbs will always do critical damage, which with the undercover tree means you will always freeze enemies. Mine came with +120% damage when swapping with clone and I utilize that with 25% bonus stack on bosses to drop their shields in 3-5 shots up to mayhem 3 haven't tried mayhem 4 with it yet though

For storm the way I think it’s supposed to be used is shoot a couple of shots and then switch weapons. Only use it to take our shields of enemies.

My level 57 storm does around 20k damage and 20 k elemental and my lob does 26k in both normal and elemental and i got the weapon in all elements

I'm using Amara and The Lob is my weapon to go when I'm in FFYL, I have 3 shock, incendiary and radiation. I use mainly Fist of The Elements and added Personal Space and an artifact that gives me 103% extra of elemental damage and that thing literally melt the enemies. I see that your lob is cryo (not the best for me) with a penalization of 72% damage. Check other. The Lob was modified in the last patch so now is slower, still is very good.

I personally use one pump chump for sniping, higher damage than nearly every sniper despite being a shotgun, jakobs ricochet, and when combined with ammo saving skills can get a lot of shots before reloading. Plus one punch man reference. For fade away i have a greatly rolled rowans call. For non sniping I use echo and night hawkin if i want elemental damage

You have to hit the crit! Its damage is outrageous, when you crit it can 1 hit people but it's hard because of the arc. Non crit shots do almost nothing

I got one that is corrosive double barrel and it wreaked havoc in the Cistern Of Slaughter. I haven't tested it in the Moxxi dlc yet, but given that it's corrosive, it will likely do well.

on the predatory lending gun, its ammo is factually cheaper than the actual smg bullets! also the storm was a huge aid during my first takedown of wotan the invincible during the phase where its shields are too high to hit from the top of the towers.

The Lob is a beast. But more importantly for me, my 4 yr old son likes to shoot it into the air because of the huge orb. I put one of fire, shock, corrosive, and radiation. Then he just shoots giant multi colored orbs around the level (I just park myself somewhere secluded, or just fast travel to the ship) and have a blast. Recently I've been loading up the Kill o the Wisp shotguns because they have large orbs and rings around them so it looks a little cooler. Also the Shocker gun that fires 3 large orbs at once. Basically I keep a bunch of weapons around that have cool firing effects for my son to play with. So they all have extremely high value to me.

Shock version just plows through enimies in any mayhem level and if you paid it with the transformer shield your pretty much invisible cause if you lose a little bit of shield you can just should the floor and get shield back

Nimble jack is my fav shotgun. I use it cuz of the wide spread - like a real shotgun. Get it close, click on head, ammo refilled, bullet bounces make 2 kills

It's called the Tunguska because the Tunguska event was caused by the mid air explosive of a meteor right before it hit earth, leaving no trace except for small meteor bits later found. This is similar to how the rockets explode in the air and not on the enemies for the weapon.

I dont know how the Lob was back in the day, but i got it now with shock and fire and the Dmg is so dam good for me. the plus 130 % dmg maybe helps a lot

The lob is awesome. I have a radiation lob and because of amaras abilities it fires 3 "shots" at once and nukes absolutely anything.

the storm is one of my favorite sniper rifles in the game because it's hella strong for mobbing with my crit build fl4k on mayhem 10 and i have one with the annoint where everytime you hit a crit you get 1% damage increase and i have basically infinite ammo with it too because ammo goes right back into my mags from the crits it does and as long as i'm hitting crit spots i have guaranteed crits from the orbs increasing damage the longer i'm in combat

i call it the lab and i got is from the 2nd form of that sound guy but this time he has a shield i find this gun oddle really great then again i use Zane and his freeze build. atlest in the 1st play-threw it basically 1 shots everything, (this is the same for minds breaker i keep all my guns leveled up with me va a save edit tool site..

I have not come across all those weapons. But I can tell you I love The Lob. I have both shock and radiation versions and I use both.

The Lob belongs now in the top 5 best shotguns (still using a lvl 39 corrosive Lob on lvl 57 mayhem 3 and it's on par with my other gear).
