One of the best thunderstorm sounds I've found. I lay with it right by side my head and it's almost like being there without getting wet. Lol would recommend it to all. It even scared my daughter when she walked in my room she thought it was storming outside but it's winter her. Job well done.

I had to store this one myself. Over the years this is the only version of storm sound that works for sleeping. If you play it on a speaker or phone in the direction of your window at the correct volume. You'd never tell the difference in a half sleep state.

WOW, it is a wonderful and gracious rain sound, this is so calm and quiet. This is one of those sounds that just make you go exhausted from being sleepy. It makes you want to grab a blanket and settle down for a long winter nap. You have worked his rain event which is so wonderful.

I have a fear of lightning but especially thunder. Mostly because it's a loud noise. I can thank my anxiety for that. You may be wondering why I clicked on this... my reason? To get over it. To finally be able to sleep peacefully during a thunderstorm. I have a really nice pair of headset on right now and I'm chilling out, while this thing is giving me all the base. It's perfectly sunny outside, but I feel I may use this tonight... I will try it out, and giving the fact that I have not stopped it and it is about half way through is a good thing. So thank you so much for this, I think this will bring me back to reality and the fact that thunderstorms are not going to hurt me, and I will finally be able to sleep peacefully again.❤👍😁

Might have something to do with the lightning that accompanies them? I once ran back home in a terrific storm with multiple lightning bolts near me with under a second delay. I'm well over six ft so an easy 'target' (though it actually goes up rather than down). Multiple trees near me. I turned on the news to find that same storm killed 3 people a few miles from me. 2 from lightning strikes and one from a Tornado ---which also often accompany thunderstorms. The Faraday effect of a good steel roof in a house or most cars means those in them can mostly relax- bar extremely remote chance of ball lightning vaporisation! During a tornado as a child I remember crouching on the floor as sparks arced on metal objects inside the house and as the ranchsliders bellowed in and out. The neighbor's roof was lifted. Our ceramic tiled roof survived but they didn't stop the sparks arcing from the storm. No Faraday effect you see. I was just as blase as you until the latter experience.

I lived in Buffalo New york, and one of the most cool things is what we call thunder snow! It snows plenty in Buffalo but it is extremely rare to have a thunderstorm during a snowstorm. It's crazy and it's really cool! Otherwise, whenever there was a good thunder and lightning storm, we would usually go out and sit in the garage and just watch the light show. I just realized that this is probably what it reminds me of, and that is why it's so relaxing for me. I really think it's the best lightning sleep app. I use it every night.
