Join us for the epic American Food Tour in Melbourne CBD!
In this video, we're visiting some of the best local businesses that serve authentic American food.
Please note that this video was filmed before Melbourne's 6th lockdown (started on 5th August 2021), so you may see some of the restaurant's settings were quite different than today.
Our first stop is Bowery To Williamsburg. This cafe serves American brunch food. It is one of the best places to have bagels in the city. We regret not ordering the chicken waffle because it looks super good and the staff recommended it as well.
The second stop is Sal's Authentic New York Pizza. This place is arguably the best pizza shop selling authentic New York-style pizza in Melbourne. You guys have to come and try to believe it. We were a bit skeptical before but now we're absolutely in love with their pizzas.
An American food tour is not complete without trying American-style BBQ meat. Fancy Hank's Barbecue Restaurant is the best place to get it in the city. They even have a custom barrel smoker inside the restaurant that can smoke up to 22 hours of meat. Isn't that awesome!!
Last but not least, for dessert, we cannot forget about American-style donuts. Donut is one of our favorite things to eat, for breakfast or a snack. We think the best classic American donuts in Melbourne has to be from Walker's Doughnuts.
