Today we are playing some Town of Salem ranked! In this tos game we have the role of sheriff. Sheriff is capable of great investigative power, using their results to push for claims and checking them against other investigative results. Social deduction games like town of salem always include some form of scum reading, in this one I read chat like my own personal book!

So, Skimm, I agree with you that Disg needs a change ~ But I don't agree that the Sheriff should see them as "inno". That would make it near impossible for them to be found, honestly. A Disguiser is only good when a Consig finds someone, since they know the exact role of that person. So, I would like the Disguiser to get an invest alert when they disguise as someone so they can make a fake will to match their role. A lot of Disguisers get found out because their Will doesn't match their Disguised Role. So: 1. Give Fake Invest Results when Investigated 2. Still come up Sus to Sheriff ~ This will make them also guess if Framer exists if you get hanged, or the Sheriff gets called out for being an Exe. 3. Allow them to see modified role results ~ Like for each Town Role: Your Target seems to want to protect people! (TP) or Invest: Your Target attempts to investigate into others! (TI) / Your Target appears to own weapons (TK) / Your target tries to help out around the town! (TS) something along those lines. I don't think this is perfect, and may make them a little unbalanced, but it will help the Disg stay late game OR have them "Fill" a Town Spot for either late claimers, non-claimers, or just bad claims and create a good 1 for 1 option.

Now I don't fully understand how people are paired up for ranked games, but I'm assuming people who are Diamond Rank get paired up with other people who are Diamond Rank. And if Diamond Rank players play mafia like this then I have trouble believing that Mafia is anywhere near as bad as people make it out to be. Yes, I do think town generally has the upper hand, but when I witness as many bad mafias like this it just ends up sounding a lot to me like people making excuses for how bad they are at the game. I can't say for sure though as most of my own games are Ranked Practice because I don't care enough about ranked. So I can only base it off of what experience I do have and what I've seen in videos. PS: Skim, I think you missed the fact that Akira had the mafioso down as Spy/BM'er/Jailor.

I know last sheriff game I had didn't go over well, died to vigi n2 because vigi was confused when I said I would check someone but I use the term check as a means of saying visit. Vigi forgot that sheriff is a ti role so check and investigate is just general terminology for all ti roles.

I feel like disguiser needs a bit of a rework here so it can be more useful. Maybe if you disg as someone you stay that role until you visit someone again, and not just your that role for the day and that's it.

Disguisers always show up as suspicious to a Sheriff. When they disguise, they show up as the role they disguised as to an Investigator.

I hate getting sheriff because there isn’t much to find. I feel like there should be some new sheriff buffs. For example, a doused arsonist should come up as suspicious (this can happen in a game mode with more than one arsonist or a transporter that got the arsonist doused). A mafioso promoted to godfather should appear susp. I feel like I’m useless when I get sheriff, especially if RM leaves or dies n1. It’s like what now? For the rest of the game I can MAYBE find one evil? I can’t find an exe or a witch??
