i think the godfather made a misplay by being such an accurate spy, if you're the only spy claim and you're fake you should be messing with the visits, otherwise you can easily be used by town bc you're basically just feeding them the info a real spy would

No one's talking about doc's self heal n3. It was a good attack for maf as they find arso or kill tp. Doc knew this and saved themselves. Skimm didn't talk about it much, but you could here the awe in his voice after checking them.

After spy died n1 and the GF claimed only Spy I do not know why he didnt alter the maf visits for n2? would have saved consig and could have been a great play for mafia

I’ve learned that if someone hesitates to claim when asked that they're probably evil (referring to arsonist). There’s no reason not to claim as town, even if an evil is asking since you have to die anyway for them to win.

Almost always yeah. There are very few cases where it's reasonable to avoid claiming to randoms as a town (e.g. you're mayor or don't know if there is BMer yet), and even then it's a little iffy. Evils are pretty unlikely to message you demanding a claim, so the person messaging you is likely a town who got a read on you or visited you. Sometimes you will of course get screwed over by claiming, but statistically you're much better off claiming ASAP when asked. Town will be far more likely to believe you if you're fast and forthcoming with your claim, which is good as both a town and evil.

not entirely true. you see, some town roles are very important and if they're claimed, are huge targets for evils and maf.

Malakai DeMoines usually those important town roles are easily confirmed. At worst, you’ll get pushed up for a public claim so at least you can get some TP on you.

Benjamin Urquhart I agree for a different reason. Town wants to have fast games where people are talking and claiming as soon as possible. Evils want to slow the game down get the talkers to stop talking and the claimers to stop claiming. Kill the confirmed off to keep rt open.

You mentioned not being good at Vet baits, so I figured I would share. 3 times as Vet I have said "This is NOT a Vet bait." and 3 times it has killed evils. Sometimes it is the simple things.

One of my go-to vet baits is "Mafia is stupid.". Sometimes it lures over dumb towns but it's happened so often that I hit multiple evils N1 with this line.

0:50 try vet claim d1 and don't alert, keep your alerts until you think you really need them. Nobody will attack you d1 for fear of vet, if no one visits you you can claim that you alerted and you are not susp for vet baiting d1 as any role.

Jailor is powerful but is hindered heavily by the inability to safely speak with his team at night without giving himself away to a jailed person. The best excuse he can maybe get for a mistake is a medium seance but even that needs both a dead medium and them to not cc, or that someone else cc's their claims or the med seances someone else with the lie the following night. He is powerful, Im not saying he's not, but in terms of communication Vigilante TT is preferable unless you use whispers during the day but even that can draw suspicion if you're publicly whispering confirmed evils without killing them

The spy claim by gf killed two of the maf with your reads.... Like he basically gave town a free unkillable spy. Like, if he's gonna fake spy he doesn't need to confirm townies / show true visits. Sure if someone else claims spy and then it's a 1 for 1, but what he did instead 2 for 0'd his own team.

In some sort of crazy world where the Spy claim did a nice fake will to make the framer be visited, it could've been possible that 12 appeared to have been framed himself. Not sure why Ki did the real visits tbh... It could've saved a lot of maf from dying

IMO the new setup is much nicer. Easier to track claims with sorting, and can look at chat history while still seeing new ones. Also numbers next to names is super helpful, especially when people have similar names.

If your PC can run VR chat (you don't need a headset to play) there is a town of Salem world that is fun. it's a much different experience as people are actually speaking and not typing.

Like many others are saying, this game could have went a completely different direction if GF would have just changed up that spy will just a bit, frame some people, let someone get voted up and then remove one of the nightly visits, let town this they could be disg. Anything really, but they just kept it too honest haha

Mafia kind of fell apart over time there, and made some poor decisions. Sadly there were a lot of confirmed roles to deal with for them (Like double meds), but they also made some poor decisions that led to a loss in the long run. Arso did fairly well, but mafia didn't get all the killing done that it needed to (For example, you probably should have died much sooner than you did since Invest had potential to out most of them, including the townie-looking GF). Double mediums probably should have died sooner than they did too.

If we are talking about carries in ranked as a Jailor I had the game rapped up by D4 it was over and we won.I exed Consig N2. We hung Jani D3.I Exed another maf N3. And we hung last maf D4. Was one of my quickest games.

I like that Skimm was like Enter Name could be Framer true (when he found Enter Name as Framer Vamp Jester n2) and after Grey the jester died, and knowing no vamps around, it should have been easy to go "Enter Name is Framer"

I’m a new player and have a few questions… what the heck does inno mean? is baiting just typing in chat to have someone target yourself or another? When you say “make 8 post”, does that just mean type in to chat? define consig? What does RT mean..? when typed in will - he says it at 11:18 but I still have no clue I’m guessing TK doesn’t mean team kill? Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks :)

Inno means that the target on the stand or the target investigated is Innocent! Meaning they are town or a role that doesnt show as suspicious! Baiting is exactly that! If you were a veteran you would try and bait evil roles into visiting you. Yes! Just wanting them to post their will/ results of the night prior Consig is a role that acts like an investigator but works for the mafia, so they can investigate a player and find out their role that night! RT means Random Town TK means Town Killing, a member of the town that can kill others :) Hope this helps!!

tk mean town killing and rt is short for random town since is 3 random town roles there. ts is short for town support consig is like invest except it finds out your exact role so if you are a doctor they will know it. They can format will to look like a invest will if they remember the stuff you show up as for them. inno means innocent so basically saying the person is town and not 1 of the evils like mafia, arso, sk, and stuff Is a wiki if needed to know stuff about roles that can look at. baiting is normally just saying random stuff day 1 that might make you look like a vet so none want to risk visiting you. make 8 post will was so people could compare it to spy will but none thought 2nd spy could been fake till later on. A consig should never use their visits in will if is a spy still out there but could use that info for a different day visit. consig is short for consigliere if not knew.

1. Inno means that when someone is up on stand, you can vote innocent or guilty, he wants everyone to vote innocent by saying inno in the chat 2. Pretty much but there is a Veteran in this game who when on alert, kills anyone who visits them meaning that they want to bait mafia into visiting them/trying to kill them 3. Normally when people say post they mean to copy and paste your will into chat. 4. Consigliere (Might have not spelled correctly) is a mafia role that can figure out people's exact roles when they visit them. It's like investigator but it's for mafia and shows exact roles rather than 3 that might be different 5. TK is not infact Team Kill, it actually stands for Town Killing like Veteran (Definition above) and Vigilante (Who can shoot anyone they like starting Night 2, they have 3 bullets. If they shoot a town then the next night they die from guilt, and if not they can shoot again! Also, RT is Random Town which means that they can be any town role so that there is mystery. There are 3 of these per ranked/ranked practice game. Hope this helped!

I was suspicious of Sally from N1. Coming up as bg gf arso and saying "I'm cooooming" screamed arsonist. Then jailor died to arsonist which confirmed it 100%. All in all, she played poorly. She probably doused you the night before she died. If she doused Pernicious, he would've been lynched for sure.

This is why the game is so unbalanced, town is working well and being aggressive as they should and the mafia lose easily because they wouldn't kill confirmed town and targeted susp players eliminating their distractions. That and the GF didn't alter the results for mafia visits, he got his own consig killed. Don't be like this maf
