When I play vet, I run the numbers. There's a 33% chance of there being an NK that can kill me N1, there's a 1/14 chance, after that, that he chooses to attack me. That's less than 2.36%. Then there's the mafia, they have a 100% chance of being able to attack me N1, but only a 1 in 11 of choosing me. That's just over 9%. Then there's the NE that has a 33% chance of being able to visit at all, and if all RTs are Vig and NK is SK, only a 5/14^2 chance of choosing both a role that can kill me, and then choosing me. That's less than 2.6%, compacted with the 33% of witch, and that's less than 1%. Add that all up, and, at absolute worst case scenario, I have a 12.36% chance of dying N1. That's once every eight or nine games, and, again, absolute worst case scenario. And I didn't even start with roleblocks, transports, jails, etc. Best case scenario is WW or Arso, with Jester or Exe. Chances of dying N1: Just over 9%. That's once every 11 games. Odds are, you will only die N1 as Veteran once every 8-11 games. The smart play is not to alert N1. (Unless you see someone's name over and over through multiple games, then maybe, but still not a particularly smart move.)

No, N1 always has the same odds. I never alert N1. D2 is when you have to start running your numbers more carefullt because that’s when you start seeing if there is an SK or if there is a witch. Then you see how many people are already dead. You always have to figure in what the mafia, NK, and Witch know about the other roles, but before you factor that in, these are the odds. Your odds of being attacked by SK or WW are 1/((people left alive) - (NK) - (immune person SK attacked before (max 2))) Your odds of being attacked by Arsonist is always 1/((people left alive) - (Arso)) Your odds of being attacked by Mafia is always 1 / ((people left alive) - (mafia alive) - (immune person Mafia attacked before (max 2))) Your odds of being attacked by Witch is always 1 / (people left alive - 1) x ((possible killing roles (max 5)) / (people left alive) These numbers are actually easier to run when you actually know what killers there are, who died so far, and who claims what.

This is true, I just meant in general, such as N1 if nobody talked D1. The more you read the situation, the better you know your odds. Who’s talking? What do they claim? What roles, good or evil, do you know for sure exist? My calculations are strictly for blind luck odds, but I do factor in what is said during the day when I’m actually performing them. I mean, I’ve spent the last week or so working on the total odds of every role being in the game for ranked, and as soon as I find a fraction calculator that can handle the last two batches of numbers I will have coven ranked done too.

solivagant 9 I did something similar except it was a transporter and mayor game not like this. Then I died and the mayor died later. I ended up trashing an unrevealed mayor to confirm I was transporter and kept transing as long as both were alive. Then the mafia found out I was transporter and they killed me

I played a custom game that went like this. I was the Jailor. N1, i was transported with witch #1. That night, witch #2 found mafioso, and the Consig checked out me. Witch #2 then whispered me and said “i know you’re witch”. she told me to witch a certain player and i went along with it. Then the mafioso whispered me with the mafia members so i wouldn’t control them. That night, I exed the mafioso. Then, i exed the gf. then i exed the consig. Finally, i went to exe the witch #2 (not knowing there was a second witch) because i had already called out the framer to town, and witch #1 controlled me (without knowing there was a second witch). I was hung the next day for some fuckin reason, the townies apologised and one vig shot witch #2, the vet killed the framer, and the next day witch #1 lost automatically. best game of my entire life

It’s nice you’re having friendly conversations in tos, HOWEVER as you are in ranked I’d suggest not making small talk like “hello” in jail and saying “cool” when jailor executes mafia. Small talk like that can sometimes make you seem evil, not always, but I’d say keep it to the game.. without saying “luv ya”. Don’t want false suspicions on you.

But, either way that is suspicious enough either way that if the jailor didnt know he was doctor from him jailing him, he wouldve killed him.

I had such a sick doctor game earlier, 3 mafia, 3 town, and a werewolf We had 2 doctors and a useless retri. Me, the doc, and the retri used the werewolf for majority, and started hanging mafia one by one. By the time it was a full moon, we decided not to visit, werewolf attacked me but I self healed and saved myself and our other doc died to mafia. So now it’s werewolf vs mafia vs two towns. We tried to get mafia hung but werewolf didn’t want to hang him so we hung the werewolf instead. So now mafia gets to kill someone and I heal our retri and mafia attacks retri and we ended up winning that game. By far the most fun game I’ve played in a while

Something similar happened to me xD I was mafioso, my gf told me that he found the "exe" turned jester and he was gonna get him lynch so he could kill the jailor and then we kill the mayor, it was a 2vs2vs1, the GF tell the "Exe" who is the other member (me) and well the guy wasn't exe, he was town, we ended up lynching the actual Jester and Jester sided with town so we lost :( that was so sad, because we worked our way through, I was sus D2 and still was alive, we were doing great but well haha

One thing that i would not like to slip away is, jailor asked escort to rb the doc claim(supposedly sk) and went for the one who they think is witch. If ne was really witch, they would have controlled jailor to their death , 2 of 3 remaining town was confirmed and the third had a strong sheriff claim but the evils might have pulled off a lynch on sheriff, i realy did like the jailor, good job

No at this stage I think self healing wouldve been better. You can heal anybody infinite amount of times, especially after Escort got revived. SK couldnt have done anything anyway with Escort alive AND he didnt know you were Doc, so he wouldve gone with it

I was playing one time and a member of maf (Framer) was up for conspiracy, and I though he was jester, so get this, I voted inno like an idiot cause I thought he was jest (And also thought that the other three town was gonna guilty) one guiltied, one inno (me) other abstained. So he didn't die, oh and I also said "just incase if he jest I will inno" so there was no time left for another lynch. At night the other town guy died and it was a 2v2. And the other town was like "Incase?
