Had a jailor game today that was so rough. There was a player that fake whispered me acting like a jest, I didn't bother jailing them because I wanted a vigi to shoot. The fake jest turns out to be vigi who randomly shoots a bg that night. We lost the mayor n1 so townies are starting to leave. I end up executing an afk invest. It comes down to me as jailor, another vigi, ww and a retri who never claimed when asked or revived. Now, mayor died n1 and stuck around so we vote the retri up but instead of them even claiming a role they just go on a rant calling us idiots. Thankfully it wasn't rampage night so the vigi and I lynch the ww the next day. This is why I feel a way when people say retri should be nerfed.

I think Framer wasn't visiting because of the existence of a Spy. Any successful Frame jobs could be countered by your MV's, and just adding to the list of whom Mafia visited. Perhaps Mafia should had gone for you, but scared of your possible protection. Perhaps they were hoping the Transporter would had screwed Town over more then what happened prior. Maybe Spy should be made rarer, even Unique, but in doing so giving it back the ability to see Whispers and/or Mafia chat.

On the contrary, there were times when Mafia would mess up. I actually found two Mafia members because one was angry at his teammate for voting him up, and there was only one person who got voted for and wasn't lynched. Mafia members can give away information that isn't the first thing that comes to mind, names, they can give away their typing mannerisms, just like in a Death Note, and their existence could neutralize Mafia's ability to coordinate fake role claims. On a side not, perhaps Retributionist should be nerfed by having the resurrection occurring the next day, however it occurring even if killed first. For example: Retributionist tries to revive the Jailor and dies to Mafia on N3, D4 nothing, N4 nothing, D5 the Jailor is alive again.

Mafia wouldn't always not talk. They certainly wouldn't talk if someone who wasn't Mafia claimed Spy, or try to feed misinformation, although I think one of my best moments was telling the RT Medium what Mafia were saying while a dead Mafia member asked me not to. It might of been a moment of being cleaned by the now dead Janitor who was killed by the Serial Killer on the same night.

A fast way to confirm towns in a spy/lo game is to have all wanting to prove themselves visit someone the LO is on, like for instance have everyone on Jailor or have lo pick someone.

Literally 5 minutes ago I was maf 3 games in a row and I was gf 3 games in a row , first game claimed BG and carried Mafia really hard , half of it was afk anyway, ended up winning since town were newbs. 2nd game claimed Spy and when invest found me out it was too late , i was also the only one in the Mafia that had a claim and knew how to use his damn ability , won again . 3rd game i was found out by still claiming Spy since there was no more RT roles or TI roles. Was a nice winstreak.

Bugs from the spy can ONLY see what that the *bugged player* sees. Since no one but the arso sees a doused message, the only time a spy can see a doused message is if their target is an arso that got doused.

Trans wouldn't have prevented the TP from saving the person that was attacked if SK hadn't been in jail. Had the SK and TP both picked the Jailor then when the Trans moved him they would both have picked angry, in the end it's the same result though. But SK attacking from the jail isn't impacted by the transporter, so only the TP was moved to angry. So the fact that the Jailor died means that either TP was dumb or the jailed person was the SK.

We should have another Neutral Killing role that kidnaps townies/evils and makes them their allies for a bit... Like if there was a Spy kidnapped by this cartel of sorts, their name would turn yellow (like a surv) and they would have to be on the cartel side or die. (Max of three players). For Neutral Evil, we should have a role that can mess with wills, mess up results, and/or be able to directly work with evils. I don't know any specifics but... It's all the ideas I got.

How would TI or town know if they were a kidnapped role? I mean for some like escort or trans it could be obvious but for others not so much. Also how would that work with kidnapping evils? I mean if a maf got turned and was still in the maf list and able to talk with other maf at night then that would be broken. If they get turned and don't show up in maf list anymore then maf would just kill them and probably get ratted out in their will. For maf, coven and vampires it should probably just say they have too much security to kidnap or something but I dunno. It sounds interesting to me so I'm just curious.

@@SneakySkitz0 I thought of this. If they kidnapped a mafia/coven role, the kidnapped evil (if they have the ability to kill) will kill someone in the cartel, unless it's the Boss/Leader. Mafias/Covens will not be able to be turned to the cartel side, and during chat, the cartels names are hidden. TI's like sheriff will see that "Your target seems off..." For kidnapped and/or cartel members. Invest will get both green and yellow names if investigated. Being kidnapped is basically being jailed. Either you comply with the cartel, or you can get targeted. The cartel can only kill if four/three town and/or two/one mafia have died. (It still applies if someone is rezzed.) Vampires and cartel CANNOT be in the same game. Town is able to win with the cartel if they comply. The cartel wins with everyone basically, except other neutrals. (Also, I think it'd be cool if there was a role that the cartel had to kill for them to win the game, so the people they kidnapped have purpose in finding that person.) ^so basically like pirate^

Had a medium game a few hours ago and the jailor (1) was the most susp person the entire game. When asked for role they kept telling everyone that they're confirmed town without having told anyone their other than one person. That said person (13) wouldn't give up jailors role either so as you would expect I was pushing hard to have them lynched. So 13 later claims hes exe and 1 is his target but I still have a gut feeling. Even the dead at this point are telling me to kill 1. The next day the real exe is dead and we hang 13. 13 turned out to be Mafioso. As one would expect since 1 still hadn't claimed and real exe is dead with 13 being revealed maf I still wanted to hang 1. Town wouldn't follow through and it's coming down to the wire where we keep killing our own. I'm already dead at this point and I believe its a 2v1 against maf. No votes go through so we go into night. Day starts and 1 is actually jailor and exe'd maf. Jailor calls me an idiot for pressing him because he's "confirmed" even tho he only told his role to one person and that person ended up being mafia. I was highkey pissed lol
