this is my sensei, I was lucky enough to have him teach me from 1994 until he passed away. He was still teaching in November 2010 at a seminar and passed away January 1st 2011. Greatly missed....

Back in Sydney, my sensei thaught me that 惣留 is for clearing a path in crowds, by drawing sword to alarm the people around. In this video, it seems the waza is for cutting the criminals-in-line's heads.
