Hey Grannies! I agree, Avatar is amazing, especially live, and they really should be bigger. That said, I'm seeing them in about a month, in a club probably about the size of The Machine Shop, so maybe you'll still get a turn. Rock on, ladies! 🤘😎👍

I love how you two share your love from avatar, and I agree on why are they not known world wide lol. But you would really love there new songs, the dirt in buried in, and chimp moshpit, an gotta wanna riot all from the new slumber dance devil dance (basically the whole slumber is amazing)

I've seen Avatar three times now, they are definitely in my top 3 for all time best live bands, most venues have been no larger than 300/400 capacity I even got to head bang with Johannes while on the barrier and we almost butted heads! 😂 Utterly incredible what they can do, insanely talented and underrated!

The barrier was less than three feet from the edge of stage, he was on all fours straight in front of me while singing and leaned his head out towards me, so I thought "sure, why not join in!" I put my head out and we both head banged during the breakdown together, and then he screamed in my face 😂 They are always amazing live, I'd see them any day of the week! Long live the King! 🤟🏻

I have to agree with you, I think Avatar is very talented. Johannes is a very talented vocalist and the entire band seem to know their instruments very well. I’ll admit though the only time I’ve heard Avatar is when y’all have done videos on their music. We’re all doing ok. Actually, we have a new addition coming to the 2RG family in the fall! I’m only just starting to announce it because I’ve been super tired and not feeling well, but baby is doing great! They looked like they were dancing on the ultrasound today! 😂 I’m just so happy to see you again. You make our family so happy with your videos and the love you add to our lives. @@nanaking9560 oh goodness no. There’s only one! I had them double check. 😂 I’m using they because we don’t yet know if we’re having a boy or a girl. So it just seems better than calling the baby “it” I guess. Lydia and Nora are very excited. The jury is out on if we’re going to continue the cycle of girls or have a boy, but we’re thrilled regardless. I think I’m going to try and listen to some more Avatar here soon. Death metal truthfully isn’t always my thing, but I can pretty much always find something I can appreciate about every song. I do love the shows that Avatar seems to put on. Seems like it would be a good time. Also, I’m sure you’re inundated with recommendations, but if you should have the time it would be awesome to see you react to some Rush. They’re not everyone’s jam, but recently I’ve been really enjoying listening to them. 2112 is one of their more well known songs but it’s a seven part song that’s over 20 minutes in duration. Their musicianship is off the charts though. Hard to imagine how three band mates could produce that kind of sound. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend too! I've got a recommendation for you, 2RG: Bloodywood. They're Indian Folk Metal and they're great. I'll be seeing them for a 2nd time on May 11th and meeting them for the first time, too! 🤘🏻🖤

Avatar was awesome, but "Torn Apart" wasn't on the setlist back in April nor on September 23rd when I went to St Louis to see them. It'll possibly be brought back again the future. 🤞🏻🤞🏻 Have to wait and see. As for Bloodywood... They were amazeballs and so very nice and humble about their growing fame while meeting their fans. I was able to get "Dana Dan" on video as it's my favorite song by them. 😁 I hope you're doing well and have a great winter holiday season with your families and friends! 🤘🏻🖤
