i love how brett and eddy really care about all the ling ling wannabes. Because of their caring attitude towards every single opinion and works from us, i feel this ling ling community has a strong bond even though we do not know each other. We just learn so much from twoset and from each other in this community. i am grateful that Keira got help from the ling ling wannabes. While lots of fake rumours are on the internet, I personally believe Keira’s story about her aunt having cancer was real. I’m saying this because technically, if it was fake then Keira wouldn’t need to post an update saying her aunt passed away. If this was fake, the objective would have been to get twoset to video call - but updating with her aunt passing away would mean twoset don’t call. That’s just my two cents anyway. I hope Keira and her family find closure and are comforted during this time. Cancer is never an easy illness to watch loved ones get, and the deterioration and the speed of deterioration is very heart breaking - this coming from someone who has 3 relatives who either had cancer or currently have cancer. Rest In Peace, Keira’s aunt. My thoughts go out to you and your family

What Brett said is true, about cancer taking away someone so quickly. My mom passed away from cervical cancer 13 years ago. In just months after learning she was at stage 4, she "our mom" disappeared and all that was left was a thin woman in so much pain. We were so poor we couldn't even afford proper pain meds for her, which I still regret to this day. I wish Keira was in no pain and she's in peace now. And I just wanna tell all you guys to just love. We will never know when it's time to go. ^_^

It's so sad that your mom died in pain. It wasn't your fault, though. My condolences. I lost my aunt to t-cell lymphoma earlier this year and I was also shocked at how brief the time was between her diagnosis and passing. When I saw her in the ICU--it was ghoulish how her skin clung to her bones. I don't know how else to put it. It's not easy as I'm sure you understand, but all I can hope is that with time I can focus on her happiness in her life and the love she gave and not pain of the end 😥

Please live with no regrets. I think it's the best way to honor your mother's soul. I think she would like you to move on as well. My dad passed away because of stroke and everyday I try to live my best life for him. I also try to remember and do whatever he tried to teach. There's no need to hold the past that way, try your best to learn from it cause you don't want to take the present for granted as well.

Same here. Mom passed away 12 years ago from cancer, was fighting it over 2 years after it was found, but couldn't get better. Died in coma, doctors said she didn't suffer in that state and just passed away like in sleep. It was unbearable to see her in that state. Couldn't say goodbye while she was still councious, tried to believe in miracle.

I, along with, I’m sure, many Two setters and TwoSet themselves are saddened upon the news of Keira’s passing. I respect Brett and Eddy’s decision to read that post on their own time because I understand that they may be shaken. Cancer is something that should not be taken lightly but but can be hard to hear. My deepest sympathy to her family and friends. I am beyond content knowing that Keira could smile about something she absolutely adored on her last day. It’s comforting, to me at least, to know she didn’t pass in pain or in sadness. I am proud of all the LingLingWannabes who made her last day the best one ever. To whomever did that post, know that you are not alone and me, along with every LingLingWannabes are here for you. Keira is in all of our hearts. Forever and always. ❤️

this just opened a wound from my heart. my mom passed away last year due to breast cancer. cancer is just.. i can't explain it at all. we all thought my mother is doing great after surgery removing 1 of her breast but weeks after the situation got too bad that jt can't be controlled. its like you see her strong and the next time shes got pneumonia and water on her lungs already. rest in peace Keira wherever you are and to my lovely Mom too. . .

Right? I almost started crying too. They're right. It's so, so scary how terminal illnesses can take a life so quickly. This really hit hard recently. A friend's mother, who was also my mom's best friend, recently passed away due to health complications from cancer. Our family had just visited her maybe two or three weeks before she passed. Then...she was gone. So, so quickly. She looked slightly unwell the last time we'd seen her, but she still had that same cheery attitude, just active and walking around so fast. To think that her funeral would just be a month later...it felt unreal. On a slightly related note, this is why social distancing measures matter so much in this time. We don't want to see any more loved ones go, and the more you violate these rules, the more you put everyone's loved ones at risk. Someone could be completely fine, but this virus can do things to people, completely wrecking them in a short period of time. Let's do this not just for ourselves and our immediate family, but for the sake of everyone else, who cannot bear to lose anyone.
