Violin AND viola?! Well one thing about learning both of those instruments is that playing is the same, the hardest part is reading the music since they’re both different staffs. Trying to program your brain to know when to switch from treble to alto will probably be most challenging.

Brian this is so nice. I can relate. I started viola at the same time my son started violin. Twisting my head around playing viola from his treble clef books can be hilarious. - 4 amazing books written so you can duet the same pieces.... Fiddle time joggers is compatible with Viola time joggers The Fiddler play along Viola collection is compatible with the Fiddlerlayalong collection 1 and 2 (for violin) These last two books contain an easy arrangement and a harder arrangement for each piece. All four books have a CD which have very nicely recorded tracks you can play along to together or alone. So pleased for you. My boy is 9. It’s lovely isn’t it?!

I used you guys as a reference in my music assignment lol. I literally put a link on my reference list to this video and put in brackets (0:32-0:35) about making classical music more relevant again. Thank you.

I felt like Eddy is the usual winner of Violin Charades, so this is a welcome refresher now. I'd say Eddy has a more intuitive approach towards music complemented by his perfect pitch while Brett has an education-and-theory-first approach.

I have an idea for a video. Try to guess a classical piece from as few notes as possible. Scoring can be the following: 10 for guessing from the first note, 9 from seconds, etc..
