@@TwosomeTravellers During my layover I was able to pretty much hit every spot I wanted to. Sensoji temple, Akihabara Electric Town, Ueno Park, Shibuya and Shinjuku. But I ended up going back Mid to end of December to stay with a local friend so I got another 2 weeks to explore. Definitely need to go back this year.

@@clairedelacerna8501 The weather in Tokyo is nice in the winter, and it rarely snows even in February. However, it does dry out, so please take some moisturizing measures 🙂 The snow is deeper in many places on the Sea of ​​Japan side and in the mountains on the northern side of Japan.

I live in Japan. October is the best time for traveling. The intense heat has finally ended, and the weather is just right. Mornings and evenings get a little cool, so please bring some outerwear.

@@clairedelacerna8501 I apologize for the delayed response. Tokyo doesn't receive much snow, and even when it does, it often doesn't accumulate. If you want to see snow, it might be a good idea to visit the countryside around Tokyo in places like Tochigi, Gunma, or Ibaraki, which are relatively close. I look forward to your visit to Japan.

It probably wouldn’t snow in Tokyo, if you head further north to areas like Hokkaido you will be guaranteed snow :) we did a series on it in our Japan folder.

I leave in just over a week and was curious do you know what the rules are like with Gimbals? Idk the etiquette with them but I'd obviously love to shoot with it since there's so many beautiful places day and night. THanks for the video. I was going to sign up for sky tree at night but if its really that crowded i dodged a bullet.

I think you can take your gimbal providing you are respectful of others in busy places. I don't see this as an issue. You will capture some truly beautiful places 😊

We were here in Feb too! So pretty much what we wore, you’ll need warm clothes, although it’s not too cold. We would recommend a warm jacket :)

I live in Japan. If you're sensitive to the cold, I think it's a good idea to bring a scarf and a light down jacket with you. February is the coldest season in Japan.

hmmm,... I would have gone to Yanaka Ginza. It's mostly considered " real Japan ", especially by movie directors who sometimes use it as a backdrop. The cemetery nearby is the largest in Tokyo and has the graves of some really important historical figures, like the last Tokugawa shogun and Shibusawa Eiichi. Monzen Nakacho is also a beautiful neighborhood with few to zero foreign tourists ... top tip, if you want to completely escape foreign tourists just go to the National Museum of Western Art in Ueno.

I also like Miyashita Park in Shibuya, the new Toranomon Hills Station (especially the T-market), Tokyo station, the imperial garden, the Tokyo Skytree, Tokyo Tower and the Tokyu Kabukicho Tower

I'm japanese. Ichiran is overrated. It's simple but expensive. Since it targets foreigners, it looks more like a tourist spot than a ramen shop. There are many other cheap and delicious ramen options.

@@clairedelacerna8501 There are 24,000 ramen shops in Japan. It's good to go to restaurants recommended by tourists, but it's also a good experience to go to a ramen shop you find while walking.

We don't speak Japanese apart from the basics and we spent a month in Japan. In the big cities you will be able to get around just fine, we recommend downloading the google translate app as it is a real big help!
