Nightmorning is definately my favourite twosun designer atm. He has designed some awesome pieces, as you have just proven, and the fact he uses various different bladesteel is a bonus. Quality knives at a very decent price Awesome review my friend, really enjoyed this one 😊👌

This is the second time around for me. Great review and rundown on TwoSun knives. They are producing some great knives. A little hard to get if you order on Amazon at least in terms of time to delivery.

Thanks for watching and the comment!!! TwoSun and most South East Asia Manufactures use what is labeled Tc4 Ti, which happens to be the same Grade 5 as 6AL4V that we are used to hearing about in the states. Both types of Ti have the same chemistry! Good question!

They just released the TS-129 in M390 about a month ago. I bought mine for $49 when it first droped in 14C28N. I haven't seen one sell for less than $145 since that first run. Thanks for watching!!!

@@OCD4EDC Thanks, appreciate that info and the response. I thought the m390 might be new or something. People are paying a premium for that steel! I really like 14c28n. I would be happy if they brought back that version too. if they replaced some of the D2 with 14c28n I would purchase even more Twosun knives than the 13 I have Atm. ill be honest with you i have 5 Twosun knives in d2 and they are very prone to chipping. I even sharpened a d2 and it even chipped during sharpening. I love their designs but i think im going to step away from their d2 steel.

I dont know when you got yours ive never had that problem but i did here at one point that they were gonna be improving there steel on there newer models but idk

@@NeevesKnives I've been having them for a few months now. My Ts89 is the worst one. It came to me chipped then I put it on fixed angle sharpening system and the chip got bigger. I maybe got a bad batch or something. I also have the stingray and it also came with a chip but I fixed that blade.

@@R357R yeah idk i know that i havent had a problem im trying to stick with there above 100 series because then i know they are newer and now there past 200 series wich are the brand new ones but they are getting better and better with every model even the action way different

@@R357R the higher the # the newer they just started doing some in 200s sometimes one might come out a little later than some it seems like but for the most part thats the way it goes so any under 100s is gonna be the older models
