Seeing the way your kids reacted, brought back memories. My Dad raced Baja and of course got hurt, so there was plenty of times seeing Dad injured. I now have one sister who is a paramedic, another who is a nurse and of course I went on to race (and get hurt as well)

My prayers are with you brother for a speedy and as painless as possible recovery. I met you at Kenworthys MX Park National I believe in 2002 and have been a fan even prior to that. I broke my back the year prior at Kenworthys on the dirty dozen now all these years later I have major back problems but still follow the sport and its a huge inspiration to see you still racing especially at that level because you want to and have the passion. You are a legend Sir in Supercross and Motocross but honestly I have became more of a fan of the man and human being your are first then the racer. It is so refreshing and positive to see the whole Reed family and how the are all involved and supportive of one another then to allow all of us a fans to see a bit of in from the inside. Again my prayers are with you for a fast and pain free as possible recovery.....

He’s also moving to Florida to buy land and build a riding facility for his family. Fact. When I look at the facts…and what the man himself has said…I am of the opinion he will line up for a few races. I don’t see Chad Reed allowing his career to end due to a bad fuel pump. He will be done with pro racing soon…but it will be on his terms.

My heart sank when he went down, I genuinely felt a weird sickening sensation run through my body.. Reed is and always has been my favorite rider and to see him ride supercross live was always a dream of mine.. He was looking so good! and to think it was a bike issue that ruined his season!
