In the eleventh episode of The Reed's Road to Loretta's, the final shot at Tate punching his ticket to go to Loretta's is here- but first, we had to think on our feet after an unexpected breakdown heading there 😅
thankfully we have such great friends to come to the rescue and help us get back up and running to Chillitown MX! Tate showed a whole lot of persistence in his motos on the first race day showing us that he really wants to chase the dream of going to Loretta Lynn's!
Welcome to TwoTwoTV! We're the Reeds. Chad Reed is a multi-time Supercross and Motocross champion and the record holder for the most main event starts in AMA Supercross history, with 265 starts! Ironically when Chad retired from racing, the kids decided to start. It’s a full-circle movement for the Reed family. Join us as we navigate retirement and start again. We bring you on the journey as our kids learn with Chad and Ellie, taking a fresh approach to coaching and learning with a major focus on fundamentals and solid foundations. Our hope is the viewers can also learn and be inspired as the kids strive for their own success in this great sport. We hope you enjoy the ride!

The adversity this kid has went through. All the negative things that’s happened on his quest to the ranch are all “racing incidents” and not rider error, but for him to just put his head down and charge instead of giving up and having the “poor me” mentality is really inspirational.

This is why I stick to local tracks, and races with low(er) quality prizes (in comparison to what an average supercross rider gets paid). I couldn't imagine working my ass off, finally buy a decent bike, just for someone to come buy my own bike from under my feet because they think it's some super insane motor. I Don't care if it's 10'000 dollars for a 2500 dollar bike, I'd you have the bike, the paper work, and evidence to support that you are not selling it, a claim shouldn't be allowed

Also dad Chad while he is still a child you should just take the family to every GNCC next year. Camping hanging out all weekend with real fans and normal peeps. And he would actually learn to ride. Then with dad’s support he could go back to moto and not even get tired. Plus while you are there Chad dad you could ride with real men. Not tutu supercross….

im clearly an outlier here. I think the claiming rule is great. It does stop factory machines from racing with stock bikes. The only issue i find, is even if every part on the bike is available to the public. You’ll find your self having a bad deal as you would have invested more than double the retail. Solution to that is bump it to 3X the retail price or more therefore the person’s whos bike got claimed would come out with a net gain rather than a net loss.

Chad, first off, love the content of the channel...but you lost me when talking about the 'Claim rule', or whatever it's actually called. If there's really nothing all that special about some of these bikes, why be so opposed to it? I agree, you're not going to put an average rider on one of these factory supported bikes and suddenly they're world beaters...but that's not what this is about! This is about taking an amateur rider giving them that last .5% of an advantage over another rider of equal talent that doesn't have access to the 'unobtainium'....and I KNOW you know that.
@elliereed_mrstwotwo
@elliereed_mrstwotwo 3 ай бұрын
Tate’s bike isn’t that special - but it’s special to him. I don’t love the idea of someone taking my kids bike. Period. Because it’s his bike. If they need to make a stock rule for amateur racing - make one. And it’s really just a pain in the ass. They could literally come and claim out bikes every weekend every race , all year. IF they wanted…. How would anyone ever be able to keep up with that . That’s what isn’t liked. ANY AMA EVENT your bike can be claimed. Rebuilding a bike takes time and work and love and when u build something and it’s yours - the idea someone can take it - claim it sucks. It’s annoying. So say what u will about it. Imagine someone coming up and claiming your property. If they want rules on what u can and can’t have - make them. We aren’t running factory bikes! We’re all good with rules to keep it fair - Chad grew up the less fortunate one - but he still beat the kids with the “best bikes” .
@hung8969

You gotta realize some idiot dad showed up with 20k and bragged all week to his friends “I’m gonna buy chad reeds kids bike and then my kid will race it!!” That’s the issue with the rule. It’s not a rule based on anything but money. If we were here to talk about a “cheater bike” then we’d invest in a way to know if one was. Instead of having someone drop 20k to buy another competitors bike off the start line lol with out a choice toooo!!!

@@elliereed_mrstwotwo Ellie, I can appreciate that and understand all of the points you make...but as the rules are currently, there has to some way to discourage factory supported amateur riders from showing up with stuff that no one else can get. I thought the same thing about a stock rule, or something of the sort. It is beyond me why any amateur has "factory support" to begin with. I know it's complicated and money drives a lot of it. Sincerely, best wishes for you guys.

It's simple why he's opposed to it like so many other parents. Chad spent hours and hours from buying the bike, working on the bike, hours of ordering parts for the bike, hours and hours of installing the parts on the bike, hours and hours of Training his kid how to ride that bike. The fact that it's his sons bike and the fact that they don't want to sell the bike and have to redo everything mentioned above while the kid is still worried about qualifying for Lorretta's

@@elliereed_mrstwotwo would you put in a claim to pay three times it's sticker price if you don't think it's a better bike

@@GARBO96 thinking it’s better vs it being better. I’m not here to argue . Enjoy the videos . No one claimed it. The 105 engine blew up. Would have been ridiculous to claim a bike and then an hour later it blows up: What’s better about that. Grass is always greener - until it’s not:

@@GARBO96 it’s 1.5 times the msrp. Buying a bike that’s set up for a 100 pound newbie because they think his bike is doing well is lame. They’d probably be better if they focused on actually improving instead of complaining that everyone is faster bc of their bikes. Sounds weak to me. Society as a whole just crying because people have something better. Work hard and get your own stuff and be better because u are great at racing!!

The claim rule isn’t about parts that are available or not it’s about total spent, like that built motor, billet throttle, pipe, suspension and other goodies that are $$$

Yeah got it but people want to claim bikes bc they assume there is something special in there that isn’t available to public. Which is not the case- which is why he listed .
