Loved the ride! Arrived in US from Cuba in 1957. I was 7. When in the Subway I pretended I was in England. In school I would dream of living in an Igloo in Alaska. Been there once on the typical tour🤷🏻♀️. Loved Taku Lodge, it's distant Cuban connection and where I finally learned to eat salmon. 🙄 I'm now lost in fantasy in an old series, Northern Lights, and its heartwarming town (the series was ahead of its time) and beautiful scenery. Found your video. Loved the scenery in your video and that you don't talk 😮endlessly , mostly letting the viewer take it in.👍

Your video just popped up as a recommendation after I posted our newest Alaska video. My wife and I completed our Alaska trip on our motorcycles this past summer. We are both skydivers as well!! I enjoyed this video. I rarely watch a complete video but this one was done so well. Keep up the good work and enjoy life! P.S. I agree with the killer Mosquitoes at Laird Hotsprings. They were so bad we refused to camp there and pushed on to Watson Lake.

The BC stunting law is ridiculous! Whether the physics actually agree, or not standing on the pegs is an essential part of skillful and safe motorcycling in some situations. Cops should be embarrassed to even consider enforcing it!
@TwoWheelsThreeSheets2 жыл бұрын
The cop was actually really cool. He told me he only pulled me over to let me know & make sure I didn't get in trouble... Apparently many states in the US have a similar law. I had no idea...

Interesting you got pulled over for standing. I had never heard of or even thought possible until 2 years ago I was pulled over by the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP). I really thought the guy was messing with me. Every indication was that the Trooper is not a rider. Fortunately I only got a written warning. I fact checked & found out it is illegal in Florida to stand on your motorcycle. It's a ridiculous, useless, outdated law. It is not illegal in all states. I like standing, so now I always look around before standing. I shared this nugget of info. with all in my local motorcycle club. I called the Sheriff's office b/c they ride motorcycles, Deputy said he would never pull over anyone standing unless doing something else illegal, & he said do that around the FHP & they will pull you over every time. That old saying in life, "it depends".
@TwoWheelsThreeSheets11 ай бұрын
The law is in reaction to people "stunting" on motos. I didn't realize it was a law either until I got pulled over. 🧐
