Marcilio is a magician in shorebreak linking recoveries to make the session. Your "tip bubbles" are really helpful. Thanks to TWS and Goya.

What I noticed (and plan to try to do more of) is during the bottom turn taking advantage of the clew-first HARD PULL (sheeting-in with those widely spaced arms) to get back to the wave face. This is what I've been missing.

How much of wave riding is down to speed from riding the wave and from the wind in the sail? I mean this looks like surfing to be honest.

It depends on the amount of wind really, but the more it’s from riding the wave the better in my opinion, otherwise you are outrunning the wave section overpowered. A good example is when you surf good waves underpowered in wind, like less than 15knots, you can really have a great session just with the apparent wind added to the light wind, by leveraging the speed generated from riding the wave. Enjoy!
