Aside from the talent and hard work she comes across as being genuine and humble, and that adds to her impressiveness. Mum and Dad must be super proud.

I go to the same school that Donavan Bailey went to in Ontario Canada and his records are littered on the wall. whats amazing is that in his senior year he only ran a 10.98 as a male. She is 16 so probably 2 years younger than him and is running a 10.98 as a female.... insane.
@efisgpr8 жыл бұрын
Is 10.98 the record at your h.s.?
@trevors52168 жыл бұрын
I don't want to be an ass , but Bailey would not be running 10.98 as a senior in hs. I ran 10.78 as a senior in hs , and I'm white AF. And even that time , tho fast enough to be City champion , was not nearly fast enough for nationals where I got my white ass politely handed to me. The guy that won ran 10.32....and I'm pretty sure he didn't go on to break the world record in the 100m. ?? Maybe that 10.98 by Bailey was grade 8 not senior.?? He would be running 10.3 ..10.2 ..as a senior easy. IMO
@mrbilingual8 жыл бұрын
It depends on the person and not if he ran a 10.3 but did not advance. As stated with Bailey, what about those who improve tremendously? It shows that determination CANNOT be measure. Unless you are hungry for a given thing, you will not seek it out. I saw the little white kid that ran a 10.3 and left everyone else miles. In college, he was often left behind as well. With that kind of talent, he could have easily been in Rio. Obviously, the drive is not him!

I like your attitude Candace. You want to win and have found an outlet for bad grades or anger. Please don't over train because your youth is what will keep you fresh. These corporations will run you down talking about what you could be until you break down then they drop the hype. There's one more gear that you will find and it's personal. When you can run from behind and lift towards the end. Maturity will bring it. Remember some athletes aren't mad at homework they want more for their family and are coming from harsh places. So they fight for that finish line. Peace.
