Kingreyjr’s Asuka was a perfect blend on Asuka keepout, panic moves, parries, sabakis and setups, but he also played super solid defense, had great timing, great reactions (including hard hit confirms) and good movement. I don’t think I have ever seen Asuka player play as solid Tekken as he did.

Kingrey played out of his mind to get Asuka as far as he did. But in the end Feng has too many tools. Im not sure why he didnt use any of Asukas parry attack reversals though

At Top Level like this Reversals, Subakis, Evasive Moves, and Parries are really risky because they can be Sidestepped and Launched even if the Opponent wasn't looking for it. You have to be placing them really well to justify the risk because they are risky. Most of the time, you can take a Sidestep Right vs Asuka's Parries and make a bunch of them Whiff.

He did use some reversals. But you can’t use them all the time or else you’ll get murdered. Super risky.

its frame 19 , and u get a combo even without heat. But it's very hard to confirm into combo on hit. u almost have to guess that its gonna land. But ya it still a very good move. its also plus 3😂

Also his combos were so on point 🔥, he has insane combo optimization and he has no one to look UpTo for asuka inspo, he is the ONLY best asuka. If kingrey chose another character as a main, he would've won. Asuka has limited tools. I m an asuka main, but I m celebrating the kid more. He is very good.

Yeah. Asuka is better than what people say. Many characters are better than what people say. Eddy is underrated. Jun is underrated. Azucena is underrated. These are all really good characters. The problem is that there are several characters that are better than all the others. Feng is one of them. King, Dragunov, Jin, Etc. we all know who they are … these characters just have the edge over all the others.
