This is America. My dad has 11 girls and one son. Growing up people would say my parents wouldn’t have anyone to love them when they’re old. My parents used to cry but now that we’re all adults and we’re all educated with well paying jobs, my parents couldn’t be more proud and feel more fortunate. My dad is retired and travels with my mom for pleasure. Daughters are just as valuable as sons now. Your dad is very lucky to have your love and appreciation.

Hope and faith are we as parents hold on to, however, these kids that are yug in this country are not the same and does not hold values like we do to our parents. One should not put to high on expectations for these mekas children!

@@everett123hawj2 and Maiv Lee, that’s why “hope” is the word and not “expectation” like our parents demand of us. But a parent’s loves for his/her kids run just as deep or even more because of the information age we’re living in today. We learned to love more from the exposures we encountered.

Sister your father is a good father. He adores all of you girl's. You have great parents who love and supported you girl's. You guy's married well and thank God they're good husband and treat all of you siblings good with the exception of your baby sister first marriage. But she's doing good and the best thing is her divorced from him and his toxic parents. Live your life. Doesn't matter that all of you are daughters.

Love the story. My dad is just like that too. We have brothers, but my dad loves everyone the same and never scold anyone. My dad passed away couple years ago. He is still in our heart everyday. It does not matter what the world does, as long as we are all together, my dad is happy.
