Enjoy reading. ***VIDEO 3 - Inazuma Eleven 2's meta*** The gameplay essentially functions the same as IE 1, however multiple game-changing features have been added: Skills, Shot Blocking, Long Shots and New Chaarcters. **Skills** With the introduction of skills, teambuilding is now more strategic. However this does mean that players need as many good skills and special moves as possible, it has whittled down the meta down to a few viable players. Compared to IE 1 where you just needed 2 extra slots to become meta-viable. There are 2 types of skills in this game: Support skills and Individual skills. Let's go over the Support Skills first. Defence Force = Gives the whole team a 5% increase in blocking power Offence Force = Gives the whole team a 5% increase in dribbling power Shot Force = Gives the whole team a 5% increase in shooting power Speed Force = Gives the whole team a 5% increase in running speed Normally these 4 skills are given to the players that will partake in the least command duels. A.k.a midfielders whom are mainly there for passing the ball up to your FWs. Some of the best Force users include: Yve Dunbar - Defence Force & Harvest Hidetoshi Nakata - Offence Force, Dual Pass & Neo Galaxy Steve Grim - Shot Force & Shooting Star Maxwell Carson - Speed Force & Dash Storm There is also the Plus skills: Defence Plus = Gives players in the MF zone a 10% increase in blocking power. Only DFs can learn this. Offence Plus = Gives players in the DF zone a 10% increase in dribbling power. Only MFs can learn this. Shoot Plus = Gives players in the FW zone a 10% increase in shooting power. Only FWs can learn this. Speed Plus = Gives players in the zone that the user is in a 10% increase in running speed (While explaining about the zones, add in some images from this website, I’ll link it in the comments of the video) - site.nicovideo.jp/ch/userblomaga_thanks/archive/ar1738169 These skills are also mostly given to your players that partipicate the least in commend duels. So teambuilding is also very restrictive with these skills. Some of the best Plus users include: Alan Sumner - Defence Plus & No Escape Belle Allure - Offence Plus, Sleeping Dust & Aurora Dribble George Winters - Shoot Plus & Dark Phoenix Miles Ryan - Speed Plus & Shooting Star Then for the final support skills: Everyone Move It! - Strengthens your team when winning by 10% and weakens your team when losing by 10% Never Give Up! - The opposite of Everyone Move It! In order to use this skill to it’s full capacity, it is advised to switch the Everyone Move It! user and the Never Give Up! user around from the bench depending on the scoreline. However you have to keep track of this as it is a very strong skill. Some of the best users include: Mary Antoine - Everyone Move It!, Offence Plus & Prima Donna Nancy Polearm - Never Give Up!, Deceptor Dribble & Dual Storm Now moving onto the individual skills that boost the user rather than the team. These include… Charm Up! - Weakens the opponent if they are male. Only females can learn this Big Moves! - Gives a x1.25 power boost in return for a x1.2 TP cost, which doesn’t matter too much unless said player has low TP Keeper Plus - Gives a x1.1 boost to the keeper. Only GKs can learn this Some of the best users include: Icer - Charm Up!, Frozen Steal, Aurora Dribble & Northern Impact Chops Denton - Big Moves!, Triangle Z & Volcano Cut Ted Autumn - Keeper Plus & Mugen the Hand With Charm Up! being so effective against pretty much 90% of the character options, the meta is quite female dominated. Especially considering that the strongest female Goalkeeper is Isla Pullens with a Non-STAB Mugen the Hand, the balance is nowhere to be found. **Special Moves** Now that we have a good idea of how to build a team with skills, what about special moves? The obtainable moves are essentially the same as mentioned in the IE 1 meta video. As included: GK - Beast Fang(Fire), Fist of Justice(Air), Mugen the Hand(Wood) & Infinite Wall(Earth) DF - Mad Express(Fire), Hurricane Arrows(Air) or Perfect Tower(if the player is female), Sigma Zone(Wood) & Body Shield(Earth) OF - Boost Glider(Fire), Heaven’s Time(Air), Dual Pass(Wood) & Triple Dash(Earth) SH - Neo Galaxy/Cross Fire(Fire), Cross Fire(Air), Dark Phoenix/Death Zone 2(Wood) & Reflect Buster(Earth) However some players like Aphrodite already have very strong meta-worthy moves such as God Break. **New Characters** As mentioned before, the characters available is essentially the same as IE 1’s except for the fact that IE 2 story characters are now available. E.g. Torch and Gazelle can now be used. **Shot Blocking** Because your keeper will no doubt produce lower numbers than the opposition’s shots, you need to cover your keeper with an element that protects them. For example if you used a Fire Goalkeeper, it is advised to protect them with Air Shot Blocks. Here is a list of shot blocks of each element. Fire - Shooting Star Air - Whirlwind Force Wood - Stone Wall (player with God Hand) Earth - Road Roller (Large build only) **Key Player** Despite what it looks like, Key Player has nothing to do with boosting the strength of the key player. Instead it determines how the whole team calculates power Key player GK is useless, don’t bother Key player DF takes Guard & Body into account when calculating power. I left Cool Up! out as I very rarely see it used as 99% of the time GKs are male and they always run Big Moves! and Keeper Plus anyway.

@@akhileshprayag3553 I've actually seen people prefer to use Critical! instead cause people can sub in a male FW and such (e.g. Axel, Torch) Don't get me wrong, it is 100% a good skill however it's got very limited use compared to Charm Up! FWs due to the character options.
