Nobody would take their time to read this long ass comment but if u love theories, pls read. This is mine: Soobin seem to be the one who lied to the others, seeing what happens in the future of them falling apart and not talk about it, to finding the dice and kept it from others. soobin's dream is him going back to the past and it was during starlight festival, you can see a little glimpse of children wearing mask and laughing like the children with masks in NOTS mv. Lemme give u a hint, thats TXT lol. In NOTS it states the kids promised to meet again below the star but growth tear them apart and they go their separate ways. He's the only one who remembered it so he looks regretful. He then saw child heuningkai and suddenly realised it might be bcs he, taehyun, beomgyu and yeonjun had done something that made them lose heuningkai which adds salt to his wound so he broke down in tears. I still cant explain who is the ghost but she is called "eternity's girl" which i feel like it might be MOA bcs she comforted soobin or it could just be the practice room ghost they've been talking about in Magic island MV but then it doesnt explain why she's comforting soobin. In heuning's dream, Heuning is always the innocent one, when they all fought, it leaves heuning all alone and heart broken, hence the lyrics "dont go breaking my heart" when he went up the stairs he did it just to see his hyungs. There's a word written by someone on the window that says "dont go up the stairs" which means heuningkai going up the stairs might hurt him but he still do it anyway to find his hyungs. (Which explains why soobins cried its bcs he thought heuning's in pain and its bcs of them.) Taehyun is a tricky one, he seem to be the one who knows the most, yet felt guilty? Bcs in RUN AWAY, it looks like taehyun's the one who always realised things thats happening around them, run away is about their friendship and about staying together forever, but in the end of run away mv he had already sensed what danger they're going to face. So in CYSM it seems like he's trying to find the culprit behind the mess they're about to make(the food fight resembles fighting and them hurting each other) you can see him look serious most of the time in CYSM and seem suspicious of everyone but bcs he's frustrated and cant find the culprit he joined the fight. In taehyuns dream, the moment he sees yeonjun dead might because when he felt frustrated he lied and put the blame on yeonjun and that resulted in yeonjuns death? So that explains his guilt. (P.s him and soobin lying kinda explains why he and soobin had the lying finger crossed during CYSM "whos the liar?" Part) In beomgyu's dream, he saw himself fighting with i think is soobin and is trying to steal a book? Or maybe hide a book? and this fight with soobin prob explains why previously he kept filming soobin secretly, its bcs he knows something is off with soobin and when he found out he became selfish and wanted to know about the secrets so he fought with soobin, as if possesed(we've seen him like this in CYSM too) he killed/hurt soobin for it. And now yeonjun, is seem to be the scapegoat. He never actually done anything wrong but bcs of the blame, he got killed or hurt multiple times. In NOTS, we know him as the one who thinks himself as a monster bcs others thinks so. So when the others blamed him, he might ended up thinking its him too and felt guilty about something he never done.(you can see him look guilty in CYSM too when he looked at his hands and see the members look all serious and dead inside its as if the members are blaming him and his thoughts during that is "is it actually bcs of me?") when actually He just wants them all to be together just like heuningkai but the others already labeled him as the culprit. (His lyrics in CYSM is "sad~ return me to your side again") in yeonjun's dream, he saw himself dead and that is his future. We dont know which member killed him yet. Then the cat appeared in front of yeonjun like it's showing it's presence bcs yeonjun's dead and it's all the cat's plan. Which brings us to the theory where the cat is the antagonist that are trying to tear them apart. It's the one planting them with nightmares and made them go crazy one by one. so is it the cat, or are soobin and taehyun actually doing something bad ? To be continued... Alternate theory : the one beomgyu fought with is yeonjun not soobin. Bcs if u watch MMA performance VCR yeonjun is the one who found the book and opened it, the book is cursed and so when he opens it it brings danger to them all. Which then explains why at the end of run away taehyun found that doll yeonjun had been keeping, and sensed the danger. Its like he knew the curse is about to happen to them(i think this is bcs taehyun has the eye connected to the star, the star warns him about things) that means we got taehyun blaming the right person and taehyun is not the liar after all. Yeonjun is actually guilty for the right reason and that is opening that book. The curse is what turning them into "monsters" and made them fought each other. The curse also made beomgyu become possesed and so we got the answer who killed yeonjun.. it's beomgyu. Heuningkai's story is still the same here, the innocent one. And about soobin, his dream wasnt the future like the others, but the past. The past where they promised to meet again and stay together. He's the only one who remembered the promise. Which still explains why he's the "liar" .. he lied and kept things to himself and not letting the others know, about the promise they made long ago. Not sure why soobin decided to lie, but i just know its something soobin shouldnt have done bcs it has consequences. The fact that he didnt make the others remember the promise too is what made them fall apart. (I might come back later bye for now)

My theory is that the boys are keeping a secret from Kai... Soobin saw him as a child which can be mean as innocence and maybe he cry because it's going into darkness... I've been waiting for you my girl! After finding Korean translation to the words in the mirror, the warning "don't go up the stairs" I believe was for Yeonjun (since he walks on the stairs to get to the stage that then leads him to see the cat eyes). The words that were meant for heuning kai was "find what floats in the sky" (paraphrased). The ghost is good, the cat is bad (could be clowning myself). I feel Soobin trusts the ghost while Yeonjun ends up trusting the cat (the writing said he thought it was his salvation?) which all leads to the boys making a choice.

I dont think Yeonjun trusts the cat but does the cats bidding because either 1) Yeonjun has already died (perhaps murdered at the flowering aboritorium? Just a theory) and the cat brought him back so hes indebted to the cat whether he likes it or not. Or 2) the cat is threatening him and putting images of his death in his head so he is helping the cat out of fear. Either way, I think Yeonjun was/will be slashed in the neck and killed and the cat is reminding him of that fact to manipulate him into helping (both when the cat shows up in NOAS and here). That I think is why Yeonjun feels Guilty because he knows that cat is torturing his friends and he is either helping or letting it happen because the cat is threatening him

I feel like the symbolism yeonjun death in teahyun subplot was that yeanjun's death would bring the greater good or beauty (in the sense of saving his friends) since the pansy flowers are growing from his purple blood. The theory of being a hanahaki disease is also plausible since one of the writing in the mirror is "I can't breath".

However I have a feeling that Soobin would be unaware of Yeonjun's trust to the cat and eventually gives the book to yeonjun anyways at the end that leads to Yeonjun's death (that could explain the dream soobin had in the beginning - which is also referenced in magic island). The dream could be Soobin's warning. Due to the last sequence of beomgyu turning his camera to Soobin, I feel like Beomgyu will choose Soobin.

Theories: (It’s long so beware…) 1. What if Yeonjun isn't dead at all?: In section 3, Promise, Yeonjun is staring at himself, and the cat appears, luring him in. His quote talks about salvation: "A long time ago, I thought it was salvation." Or "Back then, I believed I was saved." Since the cat appeared right before the quote, I believe Yeonjun, by looking at the cat, is beginning to make or regret a choice. The cat is the one that has been trying to get Yeonjun's attention since NOAS, and has hurt him over and over again. Maybe what the cat was trying to do this time was to delude Yeonjun by showing him what could happen if he chooses another path that is not the cat's. The cat, in this sense, might not even be literal, it could be an inner self trying to distract the boys from making good choices. Yeonjun, probably like the other boys, was shown an illusion of what could be the wrong path, which deludes him into thinking the cat is the salvation he needs in order to protect each of their lives. Also, in section 5, Rest Moratorium, Taehyun sees Yeonjun 'dead'. Here's the thing, Rest Moratorium is a double meaning phrase. Rest: to cease work or movement in order to recover strength. Moratorium: a temporary prohibition of an activity. I’m thinking Yeonjun in this scene is comatose, or asleep. However, not fully dead. Taehyun is shocked to see Yeonjun in such a position (ahem. Almost dead?) and can only watch. There were two things that stood out to me the most: the purple and white pansies, and the purple and white liquid. The purple and white pansies mean to remember or keep in remembrance. To hold the loving thoughts in your heart and to remember the memories of long ago. In NOAS, we had been shown red and blue trees near the end. In color theory, when you mix red and blue you get: purple. By starting off with red and blue trees, NOAS portrayed the beginning of a memory, and as time passed, the colors turned purple, meaning the end of a memory (hence, the beginning of the end). Also, the purple and white liquid reminded me a lot of a greek myth: Hypnos, the persona of sleep. Hypnos is represented by poppies, ‘pansies’, other hypnotic plants, and the river Lethe. It is no surprise that Bighit uses religious aspects in their mvs, especially since an example could be Dionysus, another myth. What really caught my eye was the ‘river’ that was forming around Yeonjun. If you see artists’ depictions of the river Lethe, you can see the nymph, Lethe, sitting on the river as the river opens up around them, just like how Yeonjun was positioned. On different occasions, by drinking too much of the river Lethe, one can fall asleep ‘eternally’ or forget all of their memories. Maybe Yeonjun isn’t dead but asleep through Taehyun’s eyes. Or maybe through the cat’s illusion. 2. Hueningkai is being lied to: In section 6, Hueningkai is seen going through almost the same route as Soobin, however, they do not end up in the same place. This could be another illusion, or... it is because Hueningkai does not know the truth. A possibility why Hueningkai and Soobin did not end up in the same place is because the members have kept Hueningkai innocent up until now. Back in NOAS, a reason why Hueningkai has wings and is alone high up off the ground is because the members have him up on a "pedestal". By placing Hueningkai on a 'pedestal' he remains untouchable and is unaware of what could be going on around him. The reason why Soobin cried instead of being happy after seeing the tiny Kai could be because he realized he had powers (?) or because he knew that sooner or later, Hueningkai would seek out the truth. In Hueningkai's scene, we can see his video cut many times, unlike the others, which ran smoothly. Every time Hueningkai made a decision to look in one direction, the clip cut and he ended up looking in another direction. This could be an example of someone hiding the truth and making Kai see what they want him to see, not the full truth. Also, when the members 'see' him, they do not look pleased in the slightest, rather, shocked. They all could be hiding something from him that could affect him negatively, since he was kept on a 'pedestal' for a while now (think since NOAS). 3. Maze in the Mirror ref./MV(?)/Beomgyu has to make a choice/What about the cat?: In section 4, Beomgyu ends up in a dark place, where suddenly, mirrors appear. The practice room itself is sort of a maze in a sense because each member ends up in a different spot. The mirrors complete this theory because "Maze in the Mirror" (It can't get much simpler than that). I hope Bighit decides to make an mv for “MitM”, and I hope we can see what Beomgyu recorded during this whole tragedy on his “iPhone 11”. By what I have seen, Soobin saw Hueningkai in his scene, Hueningkai 'saw' all the members (if it wasn't a lie), Taehyun saw Yeonjun, and Yeonjun saw himself. Beomgyu, however, didn't see any of the members but a man instead. This scene reminded me too much of Taehyung's scene in the BU, and it makes me wonder if Beomgyu is related to this man. The man could also be Seokjin's grandfather (Watch out, here comes delulu) since the BU and the TU could be able to clash. The BTS members have something to do with the diary, and so do the TXT members, since it is mentioned in both universes. It seemed like Beomgyu was trying to do two things: 1.Steal the diary or 2.Protect the diary. By murdering or wounding (We don't know if the man is dead) the man, Beomgyu was probably able to escape with the diary. Also, it is known by cat owners that cats are red-green colorblind (meaning cats cannot distinct reds and greens. Ex. Red and green both look yellow) In “CYSM”, Beomgyu’s scenes (On the couch and ‘cuddling’ Taehyun) are red, whereas in “Eternally”, his ‘murder/wounding’ scene is green. I know for a fact that a video does not come out green like it did in the mv through a phone. A conclusion could be that we were seeing through the cat’s eyes, but in a color we can see. The cat on the other hand, can only see yellow and probably gray or blue. Is Beomgyu possessed/controlled by the cat? Probably, probably not. However, we can say that Beomgyu, just like the rest of the members (except maybe Kai) is being heavily influenced by the cat. 4. Extra: Choi Yeonjun=Choi from the BU? In Jimin's scene to the Aboretum/Aboritorium, there is a Mr. Choi and his son is mentioned. In this scene, it might be hinting at Choi Yeonjun being cut in the neck (like in NOAS) and probably dying, but maybe the cat influenced Yeonjun and revived him (hence, the scene where Yeonjun stares at his dead self). The cat probably knows that Yeonjun can't escape since it always comes back to hurt him to remind him of his past, and Yeonjun probably knows/realizes that he is "eternally" in debt with the cat for saving his life even after trying to murder him in the first place. Yeonjun has to listen and choose the cat's path by force because he has no other option. Since Taehyun saw him in his scene, then Taehyun probably joins him. (Correct me if I am wrong about anything,,,,,) I have so many more theories, but it’s already kinda long ;^;. I hope you learned something new or confirmed your own theories. I think the choi part may or may not be true...? Like the BU was going on since 2015 there is no way they would have known that a text member would have a surname choi and then based the story on it. This is just my opinion won't be surprised if bighit planned this shit before them even being born

@@dottore590 The reason why the Choi part may be true is because the BU plot sorta started in between I Need U and Run, like in the webtoon. However, the diaries and the written story itself didn't begin until recently. If we remember clearly, the Chois in TXT started training around 2015-2016. If my theory is correct (probably not lol) then Choi Yeonjun would be the dead Choi. Why? Because Choi Yeonjun was the best in Dance, Singing, and Performance. Everyone probably knew he was going to be chosen for the debut team. This is just a theory but if I'm being delulu then so be it lol

Soobin is the liar I guess... Because he knows what's going to happen but he's keeping it from them. Yeonjun is in DANGER. The cat is specifically after him. And he knows it but he doesn't know why. Taehyun knows that this all happend because of the book. He's shocked that Yeonjun's book is not a magical but a cursed book. Beomgyu is hella suspious for me. He knows about the book. He knows that it's cursed but he still does not want to loose it. I guess he loves his demonic powers which that book gave him. Ningning is the innocent one. He doesn't know anything. His only fear is to being left alone without boys. So nomatter what happens he's still trying to go to the boys. *Soobin travels to the past. I guess from where this all actually started. *Yeonjun travels to the future and sees his probable fate. *Beomgyu travels to the alternate timeline where he saw that someone wants to take his powers. *Taehyun goes to the same timeline as of Gyu. And he sees Yeonjun's fate in there. The flowers are living ( retraction of colour in petals) and the forest is alive. Maybe the flowers killed him. *Ningning goes to a whole ass different dimension where ig everything is alright but he lost the boys... He's all alone. All boys thus experienced their biggest fear.

Thanks to your reaction I realised some things I didn't see before (the clock running back, the child's shoes, Soobin being inside the room at the end but then somehow coming back from outside...). I don't know if it might help but here are some reminders of things we saw before (I tried to not include to much of my interpretations) : - yes, the dragon was at the end of Magic Island short film (after the forest was set on fire) - the "monster-like" body parts changed compared to other videos (especially Yeonjun's and Kai's) and look more like those of a certain "monster" - when the dice fall, it spreads fire that burns the incantation circle (I don't know what it's called, but similar circles were in Run Away) - I don't know if it is related, but Yeonjun had a book in Run Away too - whether the cat, or blue and green lights, or two green eyes, were seen in different videos (also in Magic Island's lyrics) and they might all be related.

I really think that Yeonjun is the Choi from Jimins time at the flowering aboritorium. I think jimin witnessed Yeonjun being slashed in the neck and dying but the cat intervened and brought him back to life so when the cat shows up it reminds Yeonjun that he is indebted to the cat. Maybe in order for the cat to help Jin save the bts boys and be happy again the cat has to make the txt boys suffer like a "the ones that walk away from Omelas" situation

gurl your comment on 5:44 got me thinking what if it wasn’t an earthquake, but smth tryna hurt/warn/help them? what if it got soobin’s attention (maybe he heard it with his ears, or he was most aware of things that was gonna happen cause he dreamed of it) in order for soobin to open the door and let it in? obv there was smth there, from the moment the elevator opened, to the lights turning on (my guess is that that light can be turned on by a sensor; a sensory light? idk my english mates). i replayed that part slowly and saw that all the lights went on in order, basically smth ran from the elevator to the door. maybe it was also the one who wrote the warnings on the windows. if you think about it, that scene was pretty similar to the train scene in magic island, wherein the train headed straight for them then chaos starts (in this case, it’s an earthquake). after the chaotic scene in magic island, they were all unconscious, maybe because they were all dreaming? they did mention how they think it was all a dream. only question is, what or who got in? kay other theory that popped in my mind cause im feeling smart today what if beomgyu’s camera picks up things he can’t see? i mean during his part, he sees himself and someone else in a room that looks like a principal’s office. but the moment it switched to his camera, he records himself but with spikes in a completely different room with blood splatters on the wall. near the end, soobin holds the dice and it makes that symbol (although it seems a lot weaker because it’s in a different reality?¿) while beomgyu records him. what if his camera catches the dice making that weird symbol? what if he caught something while soobin had his nightmare in the start?

I read this: 3 is to do with protection (I think the cat is Yeonjun’s guardian), 17 means your on the right path so Beomgyu is probably being told he has to protect that book, 16 symbolises independence which would be Kai (Kai’s role confuses me a lot) and 19 symbolises new beginnings which would be taehyun. I think taehyun is possibly trying to bring Yeonjun back or Yeonjun is being sacrificed. Bighit should just let us knowwwwww

HOLY SHOT YEONJUN IS DED HERE but some stuffs I wanna point out : - Yeonjun is seen 'dead' three time, in the beginning, in his part and Taehyun part - he only seems died differently in Taehyun part, where his head is clean from blood unlike the other part and the blood seems to come from a scar at his neck (like you said) - in beomgyu part, it's possible that the person blocking him is Yeonjun (see that yellow hair in the beginning) and if you remember in CYSM he and Yeonjun started the food fight, which may mean in this universe they started the chaos in the stadium - Hueningkai is the only one with happy part, him opening the door and sees the other on the other part then meeting them but what if? on the first part, you can see that soobin went through the door before the bottle reach the floor. and in the last part when the bell is ringing you still can see soobin with them. but when the bottle dropped and reached the floor, soobin isn't with them anymore and he appeared from the door. my theory is time stopped before the bottle reached the floor. i think soobin changed something in the past that made the ringing stop but still bothers him.
