10.72…on a wet track…into a -1 m/s headwind. Julien was flying that night. Under ideal conditions that run would have been between 10.68 to 10.70 easy.

Julien is like a freight train that hasn't reached full speed yet but you know she's coming. Move over or get run over.

Julien going 2025 is going to be scary she has nothing to loose and here to stay

It's the changing of the guards. Anything we get from Shelly is a bonus. Sherika though still has more to give. Elaine's better day is behind her. So now it is Julien and the other Young guns that are taking over.

Julien is here to mash it up 😊. Shacarri needs to find an answer or she will be left in the blocks again. I need Sherika back Asap. Still keeping hope for Elaine too😢.

10.72 is no joke considering running in the pouring rain on a wet track. Keep in mind that Juju’s winning time of 10.72 is the 3rd fastest wind legal time in the Olympic Games finals. Only behind Elaine’s 10.61 from Tokyo and Elaine’s 10.71 from Rio.

Julien is a potential 10.6 for 2025.there are some uprising athletes different from our own that may create some upset though,next year is going to be really interesting one to see

@@Eastsidecrime 🤣.. I'm Jamaica but a true yuh a chat. We (Jamaicans) like take credit but St. Lucia Stand Up! Our Jamaican young athletes will have to put in the work (like Julien) over the next few years and step up.

Yes Tee...Julien has arrived! What she really has going for her IS hard work and good health. Those are the TWO things that are really needed to continue progressing. Its Julien's time now and Sha'Cari is the only one with the talent to beat a healthy Julien going forward. Our big 3 time has come and gone (see Bolt). I know lots of Jamaican's are still thinking they (Shelly, Elaine and Sherica) can still be at the top of the food chain but its time for new crop to take over.

Shericka is not finish
@Objectivity-w5j6 күн бұрын
@@lornalewis7262 None of them are technically finished but I was talking about "the Big 3" collectively. Shericka is still young enough to MAYBE still be on top BUT she's right at that age where the decline starts happening, especially IF an injury is involved. Shelly and Elaine are technically not finished either but as world beaters, .don't look for 10.6s or Gold medals going forward.

Remember that she ran that final time in the rain in Paris. She will only get faster, and time is on her side

I guess everyone just forgot about the gate incident. And shacarri wasn't able to warm up properly in one of the heats and that could have affected her the same way it did shelly. That girl taking back her crown.

Smt she never had that Crown. Julien DOES.

Too many superlatives for what really was a good season! A major championship, a novel win/title and a fan favorite! Sounds like par for the course! Didn’t she get a WR, in a more recognized race it would have been better!
