i would consider and then title this video as a masterclass of pulling deepest vaccume and balancing pressures on "heatpump" units - "deep pumpin"!

The OCD tech in me is telling me that there is something wrong with the existing refrigerant in there, that charge did not seem correct to me. the fact that the subcooling wasn't really changing and the superheat was low after running for a while is giving me mixed thoughts. Still a job well done though, Curtis.

70F indoor air in heat mode and 366 is high? I stopped playing with refrigerant charge 15 years ago. Weight it IN.

Wonder why the subcooling was so low in cool mode? Was it because of the outdoor temp being 70?

If this was a drain down and vacuum where is the recovery tank for the Freon and the vacuum pump? Perhaps I blink when watching. Someone please let me know what was the timeline when he talked about that or shared about that. Thks
@mainj547 ай бұрын
I thought those refrigerant tanks have check valves so as not to allow flow into tank.

You need to use open end wrenches instead of the adjustable
@billmooney64597 ай бұрын
stop with the adjustable wrenchs .try a slighty bigger bag with the proper wrenchs .you will save time and damage to fittings .they should ban adjustables coming from mechanic since 1976 .they should be used only needed

Channel locks and adjustable wrenches have ruined many fittings and bolts and nuts. Also a lot of knuckles.
@MarkJones-no2zf7 ай бұрын
That means you don't buy good adjustable wrenches and pump pliers
