Ive found the level 7 minigun talent is essential. It reduces the cool down of minigun by 4 seconds when you use run and gun. When you combo that with the level 20 talent that gives you 2 extra charges of run and gun you can basically keep minigun off cool down for a long, long time. If you get your stacks up high 180-200 or more by level 20 thats ALOT of minigun uptime. Once you use run and gun the cool down starts so you can keep minigun off cool down pretty indefinitely. The main thing is to not use run and gun if minimum is under 4 seconds on cooldown or its a bit wasted unless you need minigun right then or you're using run and gun to escape death. Also taking a random grenade talent in a minigun build just seems odd. As someone else pointed out a single Q plus untalented grenade will clear a wave in short order.

I loved playing Tychus when Deathwing was new. Deathwing was in every game and he felt so strong. All you did every time you saw him was using that minigun. And you just saw his health melt away in seconds. Forcing him to fly away. If he came back. You just had that minigun for him again. Tychus was and is Deathwings worst nightmare.

You did my all time favorite character in the game justice. I personally prefer the mining laser ult. It's area denial par excellence, and super charges Tychus's original mandate: saw everything in half with bullets.

Untalented Tychus can double soak, hold it down in the solo lane through pure DPS and is fantastic in a deathball.. "The grenade for waveclear" truly is hilarious lol

i like the new run and spray tychus, but damn if i dont miss the old tychus. he was one of the few heros i just knew how to play: 4 seconds is what you have, either you have escaped (with or without a kill) or are dead... and i got kinda good at it his rework was quite the nasty surprise for me

I really enjoy the new Tychus. I could never get the hang of his old build. I've just picked him up in the late few weeks. I'm lucky though. I usually have my bf pocket healing me as well on anduin.

Pally not half bad Tychus play he is one of my favorites. You don't throw your grenade enough and It is a super short cooldown. The only other tip is after minigun is done you basically want to Overkill any target unless you are avoiding it getting interrupted. Tychus can almost double soak with Overkill and grenade on a wave people underestimate his lane clear.

Good show pally. Overall tychus is one of the more difficult characters for me to play but overall his easiest build is the grenade build provided you can hit the skillshot. The idea is mostly you play pretty close to your team and throw out your w as poke off cooldown being just a general nusiance to the enemy team. Minigun build is by far the hardest to pull off as well as in the past it has always been the least picked for said difficulties, however, the build is the most fun when it works and the least when it doesn’t. Q build I lack experience with but mostly centers around good timing and focus fire with the q.

I'm not saying you're wrong but I've found minigun to be the easiest spec. I'm pretty decent at skillshots but the grenade doesn't feel like it does enough damage compared to the minigun. I can melt faces when my minigun gets stacked to 180 to 200.

They buffed the Master Assassin talent at level 4 so that Tychus can get a little help from the get-go to finish it. I take that talent if I have to attack more PVE targets.

62-12-1 now following your builds. This one was fuuuuuuun. I need to play this hero more because he seems way too strong and fun for me to only have him at level 6. I had a great team on this one with the ballsiest brightwings I've ever seen. To finish the game he dove in on a solo guldan that just got out of the dragon knight near the enemy's core when 4 enemy heroes were on him and the two of them somehow escaped. I personally enjoyed absolutely shredding a Mei had 3 healers backing her up. This was one of the more enjoyable games I've played on the A-Z journey

hi there. tychus main here. love the videos pally but even though it says that you become unstoppable while entering odin, it is not the case. you could be targeted and then try to get into the odin but you still take the same damage but you are essentially standing still. I wish you did become truly unstoppable but maybe i miss understand the talent per say.

Unstoppable will just make you immune to any crowd control abilities

You're not misunderstanding the talent per say. You're misunderstanding the key word, unstoppable. It just makes you not affected by CC. Meaning your Odin cast can't be interrupted. I think k you can still be time stopped by Chromies E or Zeratuls time stop ult or mess ice wall but those just delay your ultimate it doesn't stop it. Invulnerable I think is the key word that prevents damage and being cc'ed.
