Tyco A Team Action Racing Set Review

In this set review edition we will look at a Tyco set that was based off of the A-Team TV series. The track itself ran nice after it was cleaned up. The U-Turn cars needed a bit of 'rehabilitation' due to age but ran OK. All in all it was probably a great set when new. I pity the fool that don't like this set !!!

When I was a kid, I had gotten this for christmas one year. Brings back great memories. I wonder what ever happened to it. I also had the Dukes of Hazard.

Thats a great set i really enjoyed this video! Shame about the van because that made the programme for me when I was a kid, id like to try running other cars on that set.it kinda reminds me of a set i had as a child called RACE N CHASE by matchbox.grate video and love your channel.

That's 80's technology for you. I wonder if they tested the set out before selling them or telling individuals of the van not staying on track well? Anyway, I've had the Dukes of Hazzard slot set but never the Knight Rider one. Maybe one day.

I had a set like this but it wasn't a-team it was a cop car and a black car think maybe a Lamborghini but I can't remember but they were u-turn cars it was awesome set I wish I could find one . If any one knows the name of the set I'd like to know!

Why can't all slot car sets come with turn borders instead of guard rails? I'd happily buy them from AFX if they made them a reality. I know you can make your own, or buy laser-cut MDF stuff, but for a floor layout like I set up from time to time, it isn't sensible.

Hey Terry, the tires on the van have too much grip, actually both cars have too much grip. The original tires on the cars were medium to low grip which allowed the cars to drift and spinout pretty easily. So the goal is to constantly change direction. You need low grip tires. The tires never gripped that well even when brand new. Grab some original tires if you can and experience the difference. I didn't have any original tires worth a hoot. I understand about the slip and slide aspect. What was on the cars out of the box were terrible - cracked and all.

Just give them a layer of PVA glue and leave them to cure...
