Huh. Neat. Basically the same exact transformation as the original Transmetal Optimus Primal. You may have missed a step, though: those parts that connect the middle of the hoverboard are supposed to flip forward as the outer toes for the gorilla mode feet. (Even the instructions for the original toy starts him out that way, as it goes from gorilla to hoverboard to robot)

Amazing, love that gorilla mode. My reissue is inbound, but I’m still debating the Megatron.

Nice review. How do you change the batteries in the gun if you need to? Mine wasn't working and the seller said it didn't come with batteries and needed them installed. I don't see any screws or anything

I am fortunate to have gotten all the Trans-Art releases so far. I was a little disappointed with the tail of Quickstrike, but love it overall. I've had Dinobot pre-ordered for a dang year & waiting on the release of Silverbolt but Show Z isn't updating any information. When TF Source gets Dinobot & Depth Charge up for pre-order, that's where I'm getting them. As far as Trans-Art in general, I'm pretty pleased with the quality of the figures, the engineering in the transformations & the paint apps. If someone is a Beast Wars fan, these figures look just like they jumped off the screen & into my cabinets. They're better looking in person than video or pictures. Trans-Art is kicking ass with the TM & TM 2. The only issue I had with breakage was a leg on the TM 2 Blackarachnia. But it was replaced super quick. I do think that they've dropped off a little since the TM Cheetor & Ravage BUT have improved since the Transmutate. I would jump at a Trans-Art purchase before making a Takara purchase & I'd buy the KO before buying the Takara. I'd love it if someone would finish ALL the Beast Wars line though. Give us the few from season 1 that Takara has been too sorry to do. Rattrap, Tarantulas, Waspinator, Scorponok, Airrazor & Inferno. I thought Metagate was going to do that but instead they've committed to the movie crap... Oh well. If someone is questioning the quality, but the inexpensive ones first... Transmutate (when or if available) isn't the greatest of quality but it's their first release. The Ravage is the same price as the Transmutate & both will help gauge quality. I wouldn't trade anything in my Trans-Art collection for anything mainline. Lol
