As a big fan of BFB Nicee, I picked this fembot up to see the difference. She rated Plastic Quality 9 to Nicee 10, Joint Durability 8 to Nicee 9, Head Options 10 to Nicee 9. In the end she is fun and a treasure to own. Just know this is NOT BFB doing something on the sly, this is a pure KO. Thank-you TH for even covering her and Nicee a year ago.

I personally prefer how nice the color and head sculpt on the Nicee looks. The color for this one really works for the Arcee.

If they had added a an Arcee head in the Nicee Colors, I would have bought this in a heartbeat. As it is I'm still debating. The Arcee head was removed from Nicee because at the time Hasbro was cracking down on KO figures and they apparently thought that would be an extra layer of protection.

I used a bit of hair dryer heat to soften up the hand to get the gun in. The hand plastic softens up quite a bit, and was very easy to get it in. Don't know why they didn't cast the gun grip separate to allow to you to pop it apart to get it in, and out of the hand.

I was really bummed about BFB not including the Arcee head with NICEE as that was one of the main draws for me and if I hadn't managed to get a custom 3D printed Arcee head from someone in the TFW2005 community prior to the KO, I would've gotten this. Overall, I'm quite happy with my NICEE and I do prefer the candy hotpink/rose color over the bubblegum pink as well as the pearlescent white compared to the straight white from the KO. I do, however, appreciate the light pink color on the KO arms as opposed to the white as seen on NICEE.

It's not exactly 1:1 mold. There are slight differences in the front part of the vehicle (the bow part). It's actually a different mold to the original. I prefer the BFB stylized version of the front vehicle mold more than the flat look that CDL has given. CDL does feel more of a KO in hand. Mine has a few QC issues (her left shoulder assembly will not smoothly slide into the cavity; despite removing the flash in that area). I need to pop her chest off first before I can slide her upper area into the cavity and then put the chest back in during transformation. It's not smooth and quite annoying and frustrating. Not sure what the real issue is in that area that makes it difficult to manipulate and transform without popping off the chest piece. Currently have the BFB in alt mode as it's much more nicer (it's got better colour separation that pop out more; hub caps, seats, headlights, etc). CDL on the other hand looks more bland and meh. As of now CDL will stay in bot mode and a more stylized look for the character. I do like BFB version more than this one. I won't spring on the other KO versions of this mold after this one.

Hm I just got mine, and she's great except for one thing. Is there a trick to getting the shoulder section into the torso? When I do it, the collar on the breast plate seems to catch it no matter what angle I go in at.

I originally had ordered the Big Fire Bird version and let it go because of Arcee head then later regretted it. It was nice to get another chance at the design though I would have liked them to at least have the blue headlights (for the car mode) and better hand sculpts, at this point the grip hands are the worst part and would have liked it if they went with the Gundam style hands where you can pop off the fingers to attach the weapons then pop the fingers back on, the thumbs up sword hand is a very bad design (no one holds a sword like that). With the paint job, I'm half and half on that. Where it is at the moment I have to triple diffuse the light so I don't get that nasty hard light reflection and with the current paint job I lose out on highlighting a number of the curves and panel lining, where as if they did a pearl paint job there is that extra layer of light diffusion coming from Arcee which just makes those curves pop and panel lining more visible, the down side to pearl and metallic paints is where you want there to be pure shadow it is mistaken for digital noise.

I can't figure out the step where you say "let's show this a little smoother. I can't figure out how the white piece just below her neck (that ends in a triangle) goes behind the the vneck at the top of her chest piece. When you cut away and come back it looks like you've already gotten the neck behind the chest piece and just push it down. How did you do that? Mine ends up looking like your first attempt (just before you say you want to show it a little smoother).

I have an issue with this as well, this part of the transformation is not as clean as BFB. What I did was pop the chest part off, slide the upper part into place and then put the chest piece back in. Not sure what is causing this issue and there are also some other QC issues I have with this version I need to fix (like flash and other things). Definitely feels less premium compared to Nicee.

the anime face is a little to shinny. But if you light up the color on it yourself I think it would look better. But yeah a good KO of firbird nicee. And at a way better price point.

I have 2 firebird nicees. One is using the sword and shield well the other is dual wielding the pistols. The one one hand is comparable to wield the swords otherwise I would have gone dual swords and dual pistols. The first time I tried to order the seller never delivered and was basically a scammer. I setup the backpack on one figure more on the top to create a wing like look. Well the other I put the parts lower ttp create a sudo armored skirt and hip armor gaurds. Also got the bandai wingblade figure with nicee. Wingblade not as thick though.

Pro tip: put the gun in the left hand, and never take it back out. She can only use the sword in the right hand, and it's way too much of a hassle getting that damn gun in or out of a hand. My freaking thumbs hurt from trying to shove that thing in there and I'm pretty sure I'm one good press from breaking the handle.

I own it its not bad at all. But its not durable as nicee. Nicee is heavier. The cdl is lighter made out of good plastic.

​@@tydiriumhanger1320 It's purely a KO. For starters, CDL is not using the exact same mold as BFB. The front part of the vehicle which makes the bow is molded differently. Screw housings are molded differently as well and CDL put more screws into it. Assembly of the shoulder joints are different, some leg panels/parts are different, wheel hinges are different, tail light section has slight design variance from the original, etc. There's a significant amount of variances in the mold between the two companies.
