I had 3 milking goats when my kids were young. I loved those wonderful creatures! Their favorite "toy" was a barrel with a long 2x12 piece of wood across it. They loved the cheap teeter-totter and would run back and forth on it. Caught them climbing an scrub oak tree to get over the fence. I put a metal band around the tree to end that. They are really smart animals and a ton of fun.

I love Pitbulls. We have one. And idk why people say that they're aggressive. Well I honestly think it depends on the person owning them. We train our Pitbull to be nice and we treat her nice. I think screaming at dogs is wrong, because if you do so it will just cause them to be scared of you and think of you as a threat

I have a chihuahua/poodle mix mutt (9 breeds, but those are top), and a miniature schnauzer-pitbull mutt (those are the top breeds too). The chi mix is a scaredy cat and the pibby mix loves everyone. Pitbulls are misunderstood

I think ppl interpret "aggressive" as protective. Pitbulls, (not a purebred dog) were bred for fighting (or guarding), not necessarily for family. So they can be total cuddle-bugs, if you train them nicely, treat them nicely, etc, and they'll treat u nicely in return! (But if a robber robs your house, the dog can protective)

@@mo0onsh0t no, that isn't true. People started using them for fighting in America. Unaltered male pitbulls would fight in that cruel sport. To keep the "tough bloodline", those dogs would breed, too. The fighters didn't care about the dog's condition or feelings, just fighting. Soon, with so many of these pitbulls breeding, there were many in shelters. When people started to be irresponsible with these pitbulls, BSL started to hold against them. Being illegal in some places, they became desirable dogs for criminals. Criminals didnt train their dogs well, of course, so next thing you know, even more places saw them as agressive. 80% of pitbulls involved in fatal attacks were used as guard dogs rather than family pets.

Your Pepper the goat looks a lot like my French Alpine Pepper but he was a buck (with very strong scent) and lots bigger. They went nuts for "sweet feed" and loved to play King of The Hill on a peaked doghouse. You'll be able to design a fun play feature for them with scrap wood. Anything at all that they can jump on. What you are doing is awesome! I would love to move out there and volunteer at the farm and ranch. I have grown up around horses, pony, dogs, cats, chickens, goats, etc...I've always had dogs and have even shown some of them. I currently have an old lady pitbull, an old lady chihuahua, a mastiff and a yorkiepoo who has brain damage and a seizure disorder. His original owner was going to put him down but thankfully a rescue stepped in and I adopted him. Being an RN, I was familiar with seizure disorders in humans and they aren't much different in dogs. I'm so glad that you have the you-tube videos and the patreon page. Great info and you are one of the most transparent rescues I've encountered. God bless you!

For a moment i wish you lived in the Netherlands.. Alas.. 17 December my dog ( jack russel ) Got attacked by 2 stafford/pitt mix.. they killed her.. The police took the dogs and both dogs without much further investigation got killed as well.. In the end nothing but Loss for everyone. I often wonder if they could have been reconditioned if given a chance. I know.. I wont get my dog back.. It can make me cry every time.. Ether way Love what you are doing.. Don't ever change and don't ever give up please ♥

🥺 I’m so sorry that happened. In the end, everyone loses. None of those dogs should have died. The owner probably treated those dogs terribly if they acted like that... I am so sorry.

I recommend just focusing haltering Elvis first, as he's braver, and the female (forgot the name) follows him around. Then once the female is brave enough, you can then halter-break her as well!
