Fantastic videos as always Eloi. The TyFlow work is incredible and it is great to see free downloadable rigs coming. I may find time to contribute more to that. Thanks for the mention as well.

Master! Maybe it's just a matter of perception, but I'm seeing slow, yet organic resurgence of interest in character rigging and animating in Max, I wonder what sparked this trend, but it's showing up more and more recently on various channels and media compared to recent years.

As always, amazing update! TyFlow is nothing short of revolutionary for Max as a software, Autodesk should pay Tyson a monthly fee for such a powerful plugin :) Things you can do with it make Max second only to a powerhouse like Houdini. Love these MAKE rigs, so refreshing to see native Max ones and not only Maya!

Siento incluir el comentario en español, pero que locura es esta? Y mira que soy de Houdini, pero últimamente tengo la sensación de que sus solvers no han avanzado nada desde 2015 y esto lo prueba. Que pasada
@andvfx8 ай бұрын
Hemos hecho algunos tests.
@chocopie0998 ай бұрын
we are trully blessed with Tyson... This speed for booleans is unmatched anywhere else... puts houdini ( the fastest up to this date) to shame in terms of speed. this is like 20 times faster than houdini?... I have some scenes to compare.
@andvfx8 ай бұрын
Depends the model and the gpu. You get 10 to 100 faster booleans. Using cpu tyflow its also faster

Please, can you explain the intricacies of Ornatrix 8 licensing model to me? It it a perpetual license? Do its older versions get updated for every new 3ds Max release or rather abandoned quickly to entice you to always pay for an update to use on latest editions of Max? Is there also a good, must-watch tutorial series for all things Ornatrix available? Most tutorials I'm seeing online are rather old.

You have TyFlow free that you can use (sure, the plugin will not be multithreaded, but it is free nonetheless). Also you have Max Indie, which is inexpensive (if you are working professionally) and is not capped or restricted in any feature. Enjoy!

Because 3dsmax is the best ecosystem for developing the best plugins. And to give value to Tyflow.

i am not an english speaker Are most of tyflow’s updates related to performance improvements? That's a very good thing, of course, but are there any other new technologies that I'm missing?

The booleans are totally redone, so they work in very difficult conditions, and they are cuda accelerated. But tymultifracture is a huge modifier with plenty of options to cit manually or procedurally geo. In top of that you can do this cuts over particles totally procedurally.
