These aren’t rock sliders. They are just running boards that look like rock sliders. But they still look way better than stock ones. Gonna order mine today. It’ll still protect the truck, something there is better than nothing even though it’s gonna get destroyed if you try to use it as a real rock slider. But if you want it as a step and just a little added protection for mild off roading then this is an awesome budget option.

Those are not Rock Sliders, there steps that look like Rock Sliders. Rock Sliders will support the whole weight of the truck, all Rock Sliders bolt onto the frame! Victory so far is the best true Rock Slider I've found for tundra. These look cool but are really gonna mess up your truck if you actually get in a situation that calls for "rock sliders".

Yeah definitly. Most people won’t even need rock sliders. If you just want to hit a mild trail and go camping then these are perfect and fine. If you actually go rock crawling or heavier trails then real rock sliders are a must. These have been working great on my 4runner and still add a little bit of protection and won’t crack or break under pressure but the bolt on part will prolly snap if you consistently use it as a slider but a few times in emergency situation these will be fine.

I put those on my 2018silverado. A little harder to install on the Chevy. Use a helper makes install a breeze with a second pair of hands

Great video. Beautiful truck. How are the foot plates when it’s rainy and wet? Do they become slick? Love the look but just a little hesitant because I’ve got a 5 and 7 yr old that need to climb in and out. Thx

Are these sturdy enough to drag these on rocks with the weight of the truck on it without it bending the mounting brackets? Can you use these as rock sliders or are they just heavy duty step bars?

Id put the 50k Tundra on a rock and trust them. They’re very very heavy dity and the mount points are solid.

The slider itself is very strong. Strong enough to hold up the side of the truck without deflection. How they mount and where will determine if the body can take the weight. They bolt to the floor pan.

Definitely do not use those as a real rock slider. Real sliders bolt to the frame or are welded to the frame. Not only do those mounts look flimsy. But its bolted to the body...
