Morning Davie. I'm fishing a heavily pressured catch and release river near Toronto this week and thought this might just be unique enough to be something new for the trout to look at. I've done up a half dozen and will give them a go. Thanks for another great looking tie.

I thought that looked great for small nymphs where the abdomen is near hook width as soon as I saw the thumbnail. Very nicely done Davie. Thanks for sharing.

Nice tiny pattern for the summer Davie. The FM grab hook black nickel are similar to the hook you used and just as small. Caenis are everywhere so most anglers need an effective response pattern. Fishing an unweighted nymph seems a good option. I will tie some of these up thank you very much.🎣🤗

It doesn't look crazy to me. To me it looks sort of like a clinger-style mayfly nymph. Which in my opinion is underrepresented in fly tying. Maybe I'll try tinkering with this....

That’s a gorgeous pattern. I think I’ll try to make a couple, but I’ve been having trouble keeping my materials on top of the hook and not wrapping around. Any recommendations on what I’m doing wrong?
