I'm anti-tying the wing case underneath. It's a huge pain in the ass and those things are tumbling around the bottom, so it seems useless to me.

Great video again Davie, can I ask what kind of wax do you use, Colin 🏴
@DavieMcPhail10 сағат бұрын
Hi Colin, I use Veniards Prepared Fly Tyers Wax, I made a video on it a while back so I'll attach a link below for you to see, I would recommend though if you are going to try it just take a small piece at a time rather than making a few as it will dry out a bit if you don't use it quick enough as I do go through it a lot faster than most tyers..I'm glad you enjoyed the video.. kzbin.info/www/bejne/f3-Xf2xofJZnjsk All the very best Davie

Hi Davie Great fly as always just what I was after for the coming season. Would you consider doing a video on Clyde Style Nymphs? As there seems to be little info on them or tying method. ATB Paul

I have slowly been tying and filling a 450-fly box for a friend (and keeping a couple for myself), but I will simply have to tie up some of these to add to it! Thanks Davie!

Some stunning looking trout Davie. Great video and explanation on the setup. Different markings to the southern UK chalkstream trout I catch. I have a mate who has a joinery business in Prestwick. I might pay him a visit now I've seen what your rivers have to offer? Can I get a day ticket for this stretch?
