Montage à ma façon d'une mouche sèche dans le style "avancé d'Aimé Devaux.
Materials list:
Hook: Gamakatsu F11 B size #16
Thread: Semperfli nanosilk 18/0 yellow
Body rib : Gossamer silk yellow
Hackles :Coqs naturels du Limousin ;1 couleur miel + 1 gris fumé
Tails: coq de Leon Aconchado

Aimé Devaux's flies, in particular the hackle " forward "patterns like the famous A4, was a worldwide success and continue to be used today;floating slightly lower on the water than with a classic hackle, their silhouette is remarkable, perfectly simulating the insect with moving wings and revealing the conical shape of its abdomen.
I wanted to present to you here a pattern with a slightly less "forward" hackle, avoiding too much extra body thickness on the abdomen, thus making it quite thin, light,and "airy", and which I consider worthy of be tied with very good quality hackles, like the naturals french "limousins" here (or some superb genetics Whiting Farm's), to highlight their mobility, their brilliance and their vibrations;
I also wanted to wrap the head hackle, smaller, presenting its concave or dull face to the other, larger hackle (06:22), the 2 hackles thus maintaining each other,their shiny faces on the outside...
It works very well, this fly is regularly effective, its landing is delicate, its flotation excellent and I am always surprised when a good" all rounder" fly works, sometimes even when the fish are on a specific insect. ....
You can of course tie it in different sizes and colors according to your inspiration, and according to the hackles you have ...

Les mouches d'Aimé Devaux ,notamment les montages avancés en hackle de coq comme la fameuse A4, ont connu un succès planétaire et continuent à être utilisées aujourd'hui ; flottant légèrement moins haut sur l'eau qu'avec un montage de collerette classique , leur silhouette est remarquable simulant parfaitement l'insecte aux ailes en mouvement et découvrant la forme conique de son abdomen.
J'ai voulu vous présenter ici un modèle avec un hackle légèrement moins "avancé ,pour ne pas avoir trop de surépaisseur à l'abdomen, rendant l'ensemble assez fin ,léger , et "aéré" ,et qui j'estime mérite d'être monté avec des hackles de très bonne qualité, comme les "limousins", pour mettre en valeur leur mobilité , leur brillance et leurs vibrations ;
J'ai tenu aussi à incliner le hackle de tète, plus petit , présentant sa face concave(et terne) à l'autre hackle , plus grand.( 06:22), les 2 hackles se soutenant ainsi mutuellement, leurs faces brillantes à l'extérieur ...
Cela fonctionne bien ,cette mouche est régulièrement efficace, son posé est délicat, sa flottaison excellente et je suis toujours surpris quand une bonne mouche d'ensemble est prise , parfois même alors que les poissons semblent "installés" sur une mouche en particulier ...
Vous pouvez bien sûr décliner ce modèle en différentes tailles et couleurs selon votre inspiration, et en fonction des hackles dont vous disposez ...

Très joli montage, merci pour le partage. Je n'ai pas bien saisi la technique pour les nœuds de blocage finaux. ce semble être des demies clefs mais je ne comprends pas comment vous les faites

Pour ce qui est du noeud final , comme c’est au niveau de l’abdomen je fais simplement un whip finish à la main (a l’ancienne ) et j’utilise une aiguille pour être plus précis. …. The last windings of thread to constitute the body must be overthe hackle to lower the fibers and give this "forward" looking : different for sure but it works ! Thank you so much for watching !
