Tying a TOPWATER PERCH FLY 🐸 (Crease Cruiser by Daniel Bergman)

The topwater time of the year is upon us! There is nothing like seing a perch (or pike, or asp, or any other hungry predatory fish) hunt down a popper in the surface before inhaling it. In this video, Daniel Bergman will tie the "Crease Cruiser" - a modified version of the classic Crease Fly, famous from PERCH PRO 6.
MATERIAL LIST:
Hook: Partridge Attitude Streamer #1/0
Glue: Zap brush on
Thread: Textreme Power thread 100-150D
Body: Loco Foam Mother of Pearl
Hackle: Long Hair Holo in Pearl or UV White
Tail: Wave Tail #M Pearl
Eyes: Stick on Eyes 5,5 mm FL. Red
Coating: Gulff Ambulance red or Fluo. Red on the underside. Gulff Flexman as coating

Using the petitjean magic tool to squeeze the foam on the glue can also help to avoid that awkward trip to the emergency 😜

Crease fly was developed by Capt. Joe Blados out of New York intended for striped bass and bluefish. They work great on intermediate and full sink lines with a steady retrieval, but can be fished effectively on top as well. Very durable pattern.

Todd’s wiggle minnow is my favorite like a crease fly but better and more realistic and wiggle minnow can be fished on top with floating line like a top water spook or fished like a crank bait with sink line my go too now the crease is great but the wiggle minnow adds everything the crease lacks plus wiggle minnows easier to tie and less materials
