Tying Down My Zip Dee Awning Using Beech Lane and GroundGrabba

We love the GroundGrabba screws and sell them in our shop. One piece of advice, though. Make sure to angle your screw away from the load. This creates a much stronger cross tension, and also gives more surface area for the hook to seat against.

Me neither but lots of folks do so I decided to show this stuff. I bought the GroundGrabba product for other uses (large tarp awning type thing for my truck at the beach) and then decided to group them together. For those that want to tie their awning down I think that this approach is much better than trying to hand screw those hooks into the ground. Thanks for the comment!
