This squid makes one of the most beautiful flies I have tied! It should be a producer. I did one thing differently: After finishing the pearl braid, and whip finishing, I switched to mono to bind down the faux hair. I think it is OK to use a personal tweak to a recipe, even if it is not necessary. Thanks for a great tie! Anybody have a report of results when using one? I think a king mackerel would jump on it.
