Wing, Goose CDC or Duck

I'm convinced yours is the best IB representation. I've copied it, very successfully. The only thing I found slightly improves it, is to split the tail into two, which helps to support the fly. Natural undyed duck CDC works for this pattern.

Hi Colin Macaulay, I was given it as a gift from a friend as he got it from a gamekeeper that collected it for him and it's the first time I've ever seen it..I did a search and found some on the internet so I have attached a link to it for you to see. Hi Antoine De Franco, This is a very good method for winging flies and can be used on many patterns so I would say that you could tye a few versions using this method and compare it to the flies you would normally fish.. All the very best Davie
