Tying the Gray Ghost Jig

In this video I’ll show you how I tie the jig pattern of the Gray Ghost. This color combo is a very good jig pattern all year. I do hope you may learn something helpful for your time at the tying Vise and then improves your time on the water.

Best to google fly tying materials, many places will show. I don’t buy from just one company as most of the time one doesn’t have all the materials I am looking to purchase. Barlow Tackle and J Stockard.

Can you use yarn instead of chenille

Nathaniel Newsome no yarn will not hold up to the use. You can use yarn in a mixture of materials to make dubbing. Search making your own dubbing.

charlie cowan The head color is a light gray. I mix this color by using gray and adding white until I have the color I like.

Derek crappie are my target fish year around . I do mix in some trout and gill fishing with smaller size jigs/flies.
