Honestly? First, knots have been in use for centuries for any number of applications. I for one, am thankful for JD. His videos are very helpful and useful for many people. Second, if you really believe in that sentiment, why waste your time on needless negativity? If you offer criticism, it should at least be constructive. To JD, I for one would like to thank you for all of your videos. Not only has it educated me, but it has also become another way for me to bond with my children. God bless.

JD Thank you for the reply and answer to my question. I am planning on making a 4ft utility strap from watching your video. I believe I will now try and make one myself now that I know how much cordage to use for my project. Thank you again for another outstanding, how to video on "tying it all together", for all of us amateurs out here watching. Very Respectfully, dd

I have both of your books and enjoy them. I bought Vol 2 for my grandson since he's getting interested in tying. I look forward to Vol 3. Thanks for your creativity and the excellent teaching videos. Oh yeah, Happy Birthday. :-)

JD. You do some really awesome work and I have really respected and enjoy them all. I have made over 30 of your bracelets and other and made them into my own personality. Thanks for all you do. Keep it up. I'll be watching all your new videos.. hopefully I can be as good as you and make my own site to show the world, to keep your legacy living on......Ben

Sometimes for little kids, People who are interested in art, OR sometimes people like me who just like making bracelets and showing them to friends. ( i sometimes sell them).

Hi, and Happy Birthday although late. Have you seen the straps that electric workers use to climb posts, made of poly rope? Any clue of how are they made them or if you already have made a resembling tie here?
