The Paracord Utility Pouch marks my 150th Tying It All Together video. In turn, I'm celebrating its production with a Facebook page for my KZbin channel. That's right, if you have a facebook account you can now search for and find a "Tying It All Together" fan page! Join me, it's a great contact me through the day or keep in touch with what I have in store for the future. Link: tinyurl.com/3vf...

I appreciate how even though you've already covered it, you go over every knot. Very helpful for someone who doesn't want to take the extra time finding a crown knot

It took a couple of tries, but I was able to make a couple of these. I used them for neck sheaths for my multitools and box cutting utility knife I use ever day at work. Great project and video! It was actually simpler then I thought!

Excellent! Seems no one else is willing to show how it's done. They only want to sell the pouches. Thx so much for posting.

@SixBubbles I use smaller stuff all the time from hemp cord to 2mm blind cord. You don't "need" paracord.

i'm new to paracord knots, bracelets, etc. and i wanted to know the difference between 550 cord and 450 cord? do i just take out some strands from inside the cord or is it a totally separate cord?

Is there a way to make the pouch wider and deeper? For deeper I assume you could just lengthen the loops, but how about wider?

Hey man good job!!!! I'v been toying with the idea of making a gunstock cover with shell loops, from paracord. But I'm not very experienced with knot tying, so I was wondering if you could play with the idea and post a video with what you come up with? I'v never seen any thing like this done with paracord and it would be a great add-on product for a survival gun and serve a practical purpose to!

I have to say that this is really cool, but I think I would have found it a lot less confusing if you didn't flip the pouch over between every step. After the first two or so sets of locking loops, I just individually looked at what the previous loop was and matched that rather than trying to remember.which way the pouch was supposed to be facing (of course I'm watching youtube vids as I watch this so it doesn't have my FULL attention.) As always thanks loads for sharing your talent and skill.

Could you incorporate a lid of some description? No idea how, but you could probably work it out. I was thinking of the way knife sheaves keep knifes in, with two pieces coming together at a button or something?

I use it for Ruger 22/45 and Colt 1911-22 mags. AR mags are a lot bigger and you need 24ft for a 2.5in pouch.

Would a person be able to make this pouch but with 3 strands of cord? Also, with the just the two stands how large is the diameter of the pouch in the video? I am wanting to make a pouch for my survival kit that my husband had put together for me. I had made a pouch that was based of stormdrane's pouch for his kit, but want mine to be different and obviously cooler looking.

For those of you wanting a cover, just make a shorter second one and splice/ weave/tie it on top. I recommend an overlap so tie it in a couple inches from top.

For those of you that are looking for paracord, most citys (even small ones) have an outdoors store that should carry it. I know first hand that there are only 2 in the portland area and only 1 in flagstaff az. The best way to see if you have a store is to google paracord in (city and state) good luck with your knots and hope I have helped some of you :)

Watch the video carefully. Use the pause button after each explanation. Watch how he does each knot and don't get confused with clockwise/counterclockwise, just watch him do the weave. I had severe problems at first also, and these tips helped me accomplish this pouch. YOU CAN DO IT!!!

@Ziva4Freedom Grab some cord, run the vid and follow along.. its a great hobby and an excellent stress release. Then, join the forum and share a pic of your work or ask questions where you are stuck. Join the FaceBook page and join in the fun there too. But truly, the fun is in the doing when it comes to exploring knots.
