Your hair does NOT look a mess here...it's just as gorgeous as when you were braiding it daily!

So I used to not condition my locs also but today I ended up doing a deep condition and it made such a HUGE difference in my hair. It was so nice and soft after a thorough rinse. Added some leave in spray and oil spray and my hair feels amazing.

It’s crazy how thick they are. I remember when you first put them in! They look beautiful. I might have to go ahead and take the plunge.

When I do braid outs on my locs I use lotta body setting lotion, but I heavily dilute it. I get about 8 -10 days for my braids outs. Regarding the lint, I use a jewelry picking tweezer to pull mine out of my locks. Those tweezers work well with getting lint out of locs that are embedded.

You are literally my hair goals! I started mine in February and I'm so frustrated with the length and shrinkage after being a mid length natural for my whole life

7:57 is hair freedom and why I’m so committed. Been watching your videos since before I started installing around Juneteenth. After almost 2 months and literally just spending a total of 24hrs just doing the right side of my crown, I’m feeling very empowered by this update and your previous message to keep going thank you.

Hey girl hey! You answered my questions. Thank you! Tbh, I love your natural hair colour! Although my parting is not as small as yours, you were definitely my hair inspo for my second set of locs!

Your hair looks great!…Never had to pop my locs. I use very light oil in my shampoo and even lightly oil my hair (Olive, Jojoba, and Apricot only) - It works!

You know, even with your braidout having been 3days ago, your hair is textured and its got something really nice going on! I love how it looks! Your locs are so thick and pretty.

The guys are definitely more into your natural beauty and you said it perfectly, I couldn't agree more. All kinds of men, but specifically ones who have an authentic love for us...they really love our hair and they think our decision says so much about our minds. You ain't do too much when you spoke that!

My favorite part as well..my microlocs are still short, I've been loc'd for one year! But I can't lie, I missed having long hair. I missed my Malaysian inches, and I missed my dookie braids. After wearing my hear in a fade for 4 years, I only had one option in mind to get my long hair...LOCS. I'm so glad that my hair is my own, and I'm so excited for my long hair. I don't mean to sound shallow, I only mean to be honest, lol :)

I’m sad because my mom won’t allow me to get microlocs. I’m 17. She says they’re prone to breakage and thinning. I’m just tired of my hair. I don’t wear it out anyways so, I don’t see why not. Plus I’m about to go to college. It’s MY hair and if anything happens, it’ll be on me
@amonique3 жыл бұрын
I went through that scenario too. When I was 19, my mum said that people would stereotype me and all this nonsense etc. I think you should convince her as to why it’s a good decision. Show her beautiful women with locs, like Tykara!

My hair got and is getting thicker. People whose hair thins, they are usually over manipulating their hair, retieing too much, or their hair was gonna thin anyway.
@eringopie-lawson3 жыл бұрын
Just do it
@TyKaraAnn3 жыл бұрын
Hey Naydra, so sorry that she feels that way. As Tee said in the comment below, I believe thinning is a result of over manipulation and inconsistent retie schedule.
