Great Video. May I asked if you have ever tried to pollenate the flowers to themselves and if you have gotten seed from that. Thanks!

The plant seems to self pollinate on its own. Sow the seeds in autumn.

So it flowers before it goes dormant and not when waking up just like most of Namaqualand plants?

I'm my experience with this plant, yes. Some other tylecodons like paniculatus and cacalifolius also flower when dormant. I think ita because they set seed just befor the wet season arrives.

@@CarlosRuiz-en9iy Thanks for the info! I have a small seedling with barely any spines and I'm excited for it to flower and have those characteristic spines :D

Love the way you do not pick all the old growth off. I have a couple tyleco, and arm broken off. How to root it? Its october. Had one stem dried off for weeks and it has brownish discolor all up inside the stem. Is it fatal?

That does not sound good. Usually, deep rot like that is fatal.

Would you sell seeds?

My plant does not make any seeds, probably needs a pollinator. And I only have this one plant and a clone of it .
