This is the only song it's used on, but damn it is compelling. The Professor talks about it on Rig Rundown (Tyler Childers), so came back to hear the song again and pay closer attention...

Tyler credits Stergil Simpson who helped produce this record for giving it that trippy vibe. See Stergils “just let go!.”

Fantastic song, but I prefer the studio version of this one. The live versions are way too fast. This might be the only song of his in which I prefer the studio version.

I kinda agree actually.

No offense, because I love Tyler and his band of talented folks, but were they on a time limit for this song? I get upping the tempo a little because they don't have all the album instruments there and want it to have a little more pep, but... A couple parts were damn near like The Devil Went Down to Georgia 😂 Still an amazing track, no hate. Just chuckled a bit to myself.

This needs to be recorded AS IS and produced without being ruined by Sturgill and his crap. This is perfection.
@adamfusco34795 жыл бұрын
shredhead90 I don’t know why people don’t like the studio recording... they did some really cool unique things sonically in that recording. Not everything needs to be acoustic.

I don’t hate the sturgill production. Has an old Bruce Springsteen vibe to it.
