I know!!! His acting has so much depth!!! I actually didn't know & hadn't watched how he left Port Charles, meaning Lucky of course!!! I actually was very saddened when I finally only watched it a few a mths ago!!! Lucky left so jaded & so unlike the Lucky that had this incredible big heart. I still am saddened how they brought Jonathan Jackson back w/ his Nickolas & Elizabeth having an affair & than REALLY so much was about Luke & his drinking!!!! I felt like they ruined Lucky, & the person he was & seeing Jonathan Jackson as Lucky & Elizabeth get back together!!! Its never sat well with me, that Lucky would actually leave his children!!!! Then I wished they would've brought in another actor to Lucky, even though I feel like Jonathan Jackson is irreplaceable!!! I hated that they killed off Emily & had Lucky leave the way he did!!!

@@tammyboon6259: Jonathan had asked for a lighter load on the soap towards the end of 2011. The writer's refused. His character had endured so much in such a short time. Elizabeth's affair with Nicholas, her getting pregnant by him. Jake getting killed by none other than Luke. Siobhan finally agreeing to marry Lucky and then getting killed. His relapse with drugs and then Aiden turned out be his kid. Then Nicholas left Port Charles too. Jonathan had stated to the writers that he might entertain the idea of staying on if they intended to get him and Elizabeth back together, they refused that storyline. So...he left. He left for his own mental health and to focus on his own family and music. I don't think he wants to go back, maybe for just an episode or two like he did in 2015 when Anthony Geary was leaving but to be back full time, I don't see it happening.

GH is no longer the same. Great actors, great storylines replaced with nonsense. Sonny would never have married Nina. Brenda, Nina…come one what a stretch.

Yep!!! I CAN'T & COULDN'T stand Nina's storyline with how Sonny seemed to have ZERO comprehension how he hurt Carly, the mother of his children & his kids!!! And how Nina did!!!! And he couldn't see how he hurt them all!!! It's ONLY been since 1st Sonny was invited to Michael's wedding, without Nina was there a semblance of the old Sonny!!! And now, of course he seems to have finally acknowledged how much he hurt his family!!! I ACTUALLY stopped watching GH on KZbin b/c I couldn't stand the comments of ppl seeing Nina as this great person & Carly as the scheming, selfish & spiteful one. What Nina's done to Carly, is endless!!!!! Only Brit & Ava called her out on it!!!! That she STILL thinks Carly wasn't honest, & pushed Nelle to her death?!?! Gosh, Jax was there too, BUT he got a pass!!! Carly hasn't ever acted in a spiteful manner to get pay back!!!! ( Only in her very young years ). Even when Sonny & Nina showed affection 2 eachother, I don't know if I've ever recoiled so badly that I will FF scenes of them together as much as ever
