Awesome! The more stories I see of people living their truth, the more I come around. As a Christian, I know what the Bible states. I also know that men wrote that Bible and skewed so many things. I love God. I love Jesus. And I believe He loves all. We are not the Judge.

Hello RJelly! You are the first Christian I’ve seen to say that men wrote the Bible. Just about every Christian I’ve met and conversed with believed the Bible was written by God. In my own research, I found many changes had occurred in the Bible from it beginnings to today, and changes are still being made today which, for me, changes it’s meaning and/or focus. I’m told by a Christian sibling that God makes sure the Bible remains error free and perfect, but what I have learned from its history, that declaration can’t be true. Yes, man wrote the Bible. Even Bible scholars say that there are literally thousands of translation errors, over 16,000, and so many contradictions that, for me, the book could not in any way be “written by God.” I was pleasantly surprised and relieved to read that you, as a Christian, don’t subscribe to the idea of a book watched over by a God. Many times I’ve shared with my sister where I’m coming from and why I believe it, but if it’s different than what she believes, she’ll stop me and inform me that it’s wrong. Now, she refuses to hear me out on anything when it comes to Christianity and God. We don’t talk much these days. She’s convinced that my different ideas are a direct rejection and judgement of her. She tells me that she prays for me to see the light, to see the truth, to not be deceived, to be straight. Well, sister, I do, I do, I’m not, and I’m not. Thank you for sharing, RKelly. Reading your comment was quite refreshing and uplifting. I, too, believe in God, but, in my case, I don’t believe in God as described in the Bible. That God is way too infected with human frailties and weaknesses. It makes absolutely NO sense to me that the God of the Bible is real in most of the ways described. The only thing I can go with is that God is unconditional love. Just about everything else is men’s flawed ideas about God. The word God is not one I use much anymore. I’ll use one that carries less negative baggage like Source, or Universe, or the “Great Spirit” of the native peoples of this land, or…

Well said! 💕 The fact that we have a "King James version" of the Bible is proof that man wrote it, and history backs this (especially at a time where the written word was rare and stories were passed down the generations orally- asking for the "telephone/whispers" game effect of warping the message, before you even get into those purposefully changing it for personal gain). Jesus loved everyone, made a point of befriending those who were ostracised by society (told us to "love the sinner"), and left the judgements to God. If Jesus can do all that then we mere mortals have no right to assume we have more authority than God's own son! I'm pretty sure that God just wants us to be nice, kind, decent people. If it serves an institution and not humanity, then it most likely isn't truly religious. That's how I choose to interpret it, anyway! I support people in whatever they choose to do and whoever they choose to love, so long as nobody is being harmed and everyone involved is a consenting adult. After that it's none of my business - just be a good person and we'll get on great! 👍I don't understand why some people find that approach so difficult... 🤔

I know of Brad from the Rachel Zoe project. I have always liked him. We knew my brother was gay at the age of 5. We are in our 60s so it was not accepted at all back then. My brother is older and reserved. He had every name called him, my own friends would say things to me , and once he had a rock thrown at his head. Needless to say I beat up half the neighborhood and school. And I’m younger than him. My Mom was so supportive of him, my Dad worked two jobs, wasn’t really a talker, but accepted and loved my brother.Brad , you are great, Tyler you are amazing as always. ❤

My mom was misdiagnosed, and she kept that from me. She only told me she had gastritis. I found out many things after she died. She was very protective of me, and probably knew I was gay. Amazingly my relatives knew and did everything to protect me and make sure I was safe. Again I found this out after I finally accepted me for being who I was - this happened last year.

I'm truly sorry for your loss - sending heartfelt condolences 💕 She sounds like someone who truly loves you - and I use the present tense because I don't think she will ever stop loving you, no matter where she is. Your relatives sound amazing and I'm so glad to read a positive "coming out" story, where someone has love and understanding at what can be a very challenging time and a difficult thing to come to terms with emotionally! Wishing you lots of love and happiness moving forward 💖 (Edited to fix typo)

It is not a therapist's job to determine your sexuality. I completely agree with the reply above - they should be judged as unfit to practice and have their license revoked. I'm sorry you went through something so confusing at an already tumultuous time, and hope that you've now fully accepted yourself for who you are and feel comfortable in your own skin. You are perfect just the way you are. Wishing you all the best 💕

@@Roses_777 same. There is no scientific proof that mediums and psychics are 'real'. I would be thrilled and excited if they WERE real. I would have been much more impressed if when he was asked about his grandmother's items, and he said yes, they are all hers, I wish he would have said 'one'. Clues: the 'medium' knew from the items he brought were from a woman (bracelets and such) The style of the items was probably from an older age group. And, the medium had to ask if she was deceased. I could have figured that one out with common sense.
@Cinder222 Жыл бұрын
It's hard to believe Danni. The truth It's everyone has the ability to connect to spirit, but not everyone will wake up in this life. If you'd like to experience things from the other side. Sit in silence and try to feel the energy surrounding you. You'll be amazed of the things you can discover once you put your logical mind aside and let your subconscious resurface. "Remember"😊
